Tight Fit
Purchased it for the X-Bull 13.5 and it’s a little tight for the power cables. I worry about the long term use (rubbing), the winch fits into the mount but one of the wires is very tight against the left side. I could probably avoid this if I removed the handles. Don’t let my find deter you from this purchase because it’s solid and does it’s job well, so well that I just pulled my friend out of some mud and he was driving a semi with a flatbed attached. Bad ass if you ask me !!Ashley SummersSummerville SC

Great mount!
This is a great mount! We put a Stegodon 13k winch in it, and it's performed flawlesly. The handles on the side make is much easier to pick up, and walk off with it. I am thankful they are there! When I bought this, I also bought a weldable hitch receiver and I drilled pin holes in the other end, essentially making an adaptor so that we could slide it on this mount, and insert a shackle hitch into the other end. Now we can chain or tie it off, pretty much anywhere, or take the adaptor off and mount it in a reciever on a truck.About the most, we've winched so far is a 10k forklift, up a 40 degree incline onto an industrial carrier (tandem axle rollback). It's worked flawlessly. Great mount!

Stout construction
I needed to replace my previous winch cradle because it wasn't quite long enough to clear the brush guard and lights on my new front bumper with a receiver mount. This cradle appears well made. The two things that appealed to me the most about this cradle are the length of the receiver tube from the back of the cradle to the hitch pin hole (5 5/16 inch) and the reinforced tube mount. Most of the cradles I saw photos of, the receiver tube is welded only to the back plate of the cradle. This X-Bull cradle is not only welded to the back plate but is also reinforced by another half tube welded to it and along almost full length of the underside of the bottom mounting plate.I mounted a Smittybilt X-20 10,000# winch to this cradle. It fit but the cradle is really just barely deep enough (front to back) for it and the solenoid/motor cables. The adjustable handles are a plus but not too much of a big deal to me. I still had to finagle the battery cables around both sides of the handle bracket to make the connections from the solenoid to the motor.Even though there weren't any instructions and it was missing half the washers, overall this seems to be a well made product. It also included a few very thin black washers that I have no clue what they're for but when I tried using them, they tore apart. This mount came a day earlier than expected and was well packaged. In fact, it was almost funny that it was basically a box in a box inside another box!I haven't winched anything with it yet in the field but will update later.

Makes the difference
Makes the job so much easier when hooking the winch up and to carrying a 10,000 pound winch

Great Product
Very well made. Quality materials. Performs well. I've used it on the front and on the back of my truck with excellent results. Product is definitely recommended. It also stores well in my truck toolbox.

Holes do not line up with XBULL 13500lb winch
I bought this mount and an XBULL 13,500lb winch at the same time. While the receiver mount was pretty square like others complained about, the mounting holes on mine were not in line. This caused the winch holes to not line up. I had to drill the holes out to 1/2” and that got me there. The hardware to mount the winch is also not quite long enough because I struggled to get the bolts caught with both the flat and locking washers. In the end, I got it all together. You will need two people because you will be M-F’ing the makers of this thing for a while until you’re done. Pay attention to the routing of the wire. That took two attempts to get it right. Lastly, the directions are non-existent.

Winch Mount for receiver hitch
This is a universal mount that fits the winch I purchased without using the side brackets. It did not come with any instructions however anyone with mechanical aptitude can quickly figure out the assembly.

X-BULL Universal Winch Cradle Mounting Plate for Recovery Winches
This is one well made unit. It did add some additional weight to the Badlands winch, it is definitely worth it. The pre-drilled bolt holes on the plate matched perfectly up to the 12000 Badlands winch and the double rollers that cause the cable to retrack evenly back onto the spool also had pre-drilled holes that matched, as well as, the bolts and nuts to go with it. All in all this is an excellent choice to secure the winch in place for dragging something. Be advised that your 2" receiver hitch needs to be capable of handling 6 tons or you may not have a good day.
