Very Fun
I love when I put these outside or around the house. It changes the mood of the house in every room. I have a fun house with all these different lights. Thank you, Amazon.

Wow - just buy them now
A four pack at this price is a great deal, just skip my review and buy them! I have tried other LED lights in the past and they seem to lose connection with my Alexa, or don't work the way I expected or just were a pain. This light set surprised me, and trust me, that's hard to do. So I included a video, but let me give you some in-depth review notes PLUS a couple of hints if you aren't tech savvy which may save you some time. All of my notes are using an Iphone 12, Alexa device, and a Deco Mesh wifi system. Just so you know, I am a geek. I am a Gen-X person who has always been at the cutting edge of geek stuff, so things are a bit easier for me to install, I get that. With that said, I had these lights connected to the Tuya app within minutes. Took me longer to climb on my step stool than it did to connect these to the app. Give it about 10 more minutes to have my Alexa routines setup and I was done. Total setup time: 15 minutes. So, let's do some bullet points to make it easier for you: * Easy Install * Works with an app * Works with Alexa voice (all those little wonderful Alexa/Echo devices.) * Gives multi-brightness and multi-colors (or just varying degrees of white). * Can be used in a ceiling fan (at least that's where I put mine.) * Instructions are in English and legible. So I did set mine up with Alexa but it took an extra step to get Alexa to recognize it. So, follow these directions (or theirs, which are actually decent) and you can't go wrong: 1) Download Tuya Smart app first. Set up account, etc. etc. 2) Make sure Bluetooth and wifi are on first. Double check this. My bluetooth was on, but for some reason I had to turn it on again when using the Tuya app. Weird, but it solved some problems. 3) Screw lightbulb in (make sure switch is turned on) 4) The Tuya app SHOULD recognize it immediately. If not, exit fully out of the app and then come back in. (Fully, that means closing the app fully.) When you come back it, it should recognize it right away. 5) Repeat for the next bulbs. I did one at a time. When I tried to do two, it didn't seem to like that, so stick to one. 6) With just the app you can play with brightness, hue, colors, etc. Set timers, scenes, etc. Has the weather changed? Well, how about a gloomy scene! Want lights which flash and change colors to the music? How about a music scene! All kinds of things to play with. For me, I just want varying levels of white. I'm old and boring, what can I say? 7) To connect to Alexa, FIRST you must download and connect through your Alexa App>Skills and Games>Tuya Smart. Once you have this installed, you can then discover the lights on your network. Then you can set them up into routines or whatever you want. Give it about 5 minutes after discovering and common routines like what you can see me do on the video will automatically work. Troubleshooting TIP: Many routers today have dual mode 2.4 and 5 Ghz. Some IOT (internet of things) 2.4 devices struggle with this. These lights require 2.4 (probably the only downside of these lights.) For all my IOT 2.4 devices I have to turn off "Beamforming" for them to connect. Not saying this is an issue with these lights, but you might run into it. I did have to authorize my lights on my router, so if you have security enabled on your router, double check that. Now, many of you may not have these issues, but something to look at if you can't get things to work via wifi. Overall, perfect set of lights. I'll update this review in a few months to see about their longevity, but for now, it is exactly what I needed. Hope this was helpful!

Good value on a 4 pack
I love being able to tune the colors of my lamps. I don't like bright blue white unless I'm doing some kind of fiddly work needing bright illumination. These work with Google Home or Alexa, I use Alexa. A sort of warning. I had a bunch of these smart bulbs that got super un-smart after a violent wind and thunderstorm that took out our power. The power blinked four or five times and that did in the smart chip on SOME of my Alexa-linked bulbs. Wow. Didn't realize how much i really like telling Alexa to light my room or darken it. Other than unplugging each lamp before a big storm not much you can do. I do keep a camping lantern near m bed and one in the room where I sit mostly because if the power goes out, it might take longer for YOU to get lights back on if the chips get blown.

Smart Light Bulbs
These lights were quick and easy to setup in the Tuya app and Alexa recognized them as soon as I opened the app. I’m able to control via voice and schedule, including the color and brightness. I have them in a ceiling fan and they don’t buzz or make any noises. I have to use special light bulbs to make sure there’s no buzz, so I has grateful to discover these don’t make the buzz. I previously had a floor lamp connected to a smart plug, but I definitely prefer the ceiling fan lights. The bulbs make everything work seamlessly and it feels more like I have a smart home.

Very finicky to get working
I got these all setup and then after a few days one is always saying “offline” and I have to reset them. The white never worked right, it just strobes.

Color change and Alexa compatible.
These lights are awesome. Color adjustable and also mode adjustable, tou can even make them fololow your music playing in the background. Package includes a QR code that send you straight to the appstore to download the app from which you will be able to complete the syncing process which was pretty simple and fast to do. You will also need this app to control your lights, change color, adjust brightness, set modes, schedulles etc.. great product!

So not buy these bulbs or anything that uses Tuya -- tuya has broken Home Assistant
Edit again -- now I'm seeing all over the Home Assistant github that people's devices using tuya are gone from Home Assistant. It seems they expired our authorizations. It has been a day since I filled out the form begging for an extention, meanwhile all my bulbs don't work from my home assistant. Stay away from anything Tuya. Period. Down to one star. ********* I bought four of these on sale and installed them in my living room. They work well enough, use the TuyaSmart app, and work ok with home assistant. The Tuya app is kind of trash. It's the same generic app that any company using the chipset can rebrand, except it is not developed. It is just the barebones toolkit. Setting up isn't intuitive, you have to add, go to the device type, pick the correct device, then ignore when it tells you bad things. For example, these are 2.4ghz only, and I have a mixed mode router. I get a warning that it's connecting to the 5ghz, ignore it, and everything works fine. Sometimes you have to do it twice and it only works the second time. It's also not a full featured app after you get the bulbs connected. So you can't do anything complex and setting up is... well, it's just really poorly laid out. For the price of these bulbs, you're not going to get anything customized. There's no way to not call home to china with these, either, you have to use the tuya smart app to get them set up before doing anything else. Home assistant, once you've added everything with the app and done all the steps to set up on the development platform, will pull any newly added bulbs in seamlessly with the Tuya integration. They've worked great on my isolated network since setup with HA. As for the customer service, I bought a second 4 pack to do two more fixtures and have spares. One of the four bulbs was DOA. I contacted customer service via Amazon and they had a replacement on its way a day later. Again, these are about the cheapest smart bulbs you're going to buy. That's pretty good customer support for a bargain product. They're 4 star bulbs, and a fifth star because the price point and the company backing it's product.
