Clever Product Design
This is way more user friendly than the traditional chain whip. No real chance to launch your hand into the cassette. Recommended.

The only way to remove a cassette
Abandon the chain whip. Keep your knuckles intact by staying away from the cassette teeth.

Better than a whip, but slightly awkward
I've been using a chain whip for years to remove cassettes, but saw this on sale so thought I'd take a chance. While it is better than a whip (and less likely to cause bloody knuckles), it is still awkward and finicky. Overall I'd still recommend this over a whip

Tool works as advertised.
Much easier to use and no slippage when removing cassette like you may experience with a standard chain whip.

Better than a whip
I bought this to replace a broken chain whip, and didn’t think it would be a substantial improvement. It is, especially with the locking mechanism. Worth mentioning my whip broke trying to remove a cassette lock ring that came waaaaaay too tight on the OEM wheels on a new bike. These pliers didn’t flinch at all.

Doesn’t fit Single Speed Cogs
Just as the title states, this tool didn’t fit any of my single speed cogs.Tried it on my Endless Bike cogs, Surly Cogs, and On-One cogs. The cogs ranged range 20t to 24t. It probably works on a cassette grabbing the high gears but didn’t work for my application. It’s strange because it’s mentioned that it’s compatible with up to a 26t cog/cassette, along with Feedback Sports usually makes really products.Back to the chain whip tool for me, might look into the Pedro cassette tool though.

Great way to work with cassettes
After almost 50 years of chain-whips this is a great idea.

Ditch the chain whip
So the lowly chain whip has now graduated into this style of tool. I have to say it is much better than the traditional chain whip and reduces the risk of busting a knuckle. I have only used this particular brand of cassette plier but I know Park makes one as well which I have not used. This one was priced better and therefore I went with that instead. It took some getting used to but once I figured it out it was a breeze to use. I can see this being used for many years.Yes it is kind of pricey for what it is but well worth it for the function it provides. If you are in the market for a chain whip, consider this instead, the experience will be much better.

Good Bye Chain Whips!!
A great improvement over the old style chain whips... Fits my hand well and is very easy to use. A very nice addition to my tool box. I recommend anyone working on bikes to get one of these. 5 Stars for sure

So much better than a Whip
Made a sticky cassette so easy to remove. Would never go back to a chain whip after this. Seems very sturdy and robust. A must have if you have a few bikes or are a do it yourself type.

Great Tool
Great alternative if you don't want to shell out for the Park counterpart.
