Simple and more sweat resistant than others.
I love this mp3 player. I just wanted something small that can clip onto my watch an was sweatproof to take on my runs. This mp3 plyer checked all my boxes. I've had issues with other ones eventually getting destroyed due to sweat. I've been using this mp3 player 5 times a day for two years now. Does everything I want it to and nothing I don't.

Simple mp3 player, best for office or casual use.
Battery Life:Longevity of the product is a ball park guess of 16-20 hours or more. In total, it will last you awhile. For two work days of 8 hour shifts, the mp3 doesn't show battery warnings till the 2nd day. A minimum of 16 hours, and than some with regular usage.Sound Quality:As far as I'm aware, the device doesn't effect the quality of the sound, but the actual MP3 format does. (320 being one of the better quality standards) No, this device doesn't play FLAC files. Just your most well known, windows operated mp3 formats. For working out:I've not experienced using this at the gym, but I have gone on long walks while using this. As long as the back clip of the mp3 player is fastened to something reliable, the product is going to stay in place. As far as running, I would be a little cautious; for walking? you're good. The silicone material, including the case, grants you a good chance of sweaty, greasy fingers of misclicks, track skips or pinching the device out of your hand. For office/work:I work at an office where there are no recording, no blue tooth, no internet access devices are allowed on the floor. I've used this product for a few weeks now on a daily basis and it's a simple mp3 player. This will work for at least 2 8 hour shifts, perhaps half a 3rd day.Mechanics of the device:You're shuffle is kind of weird. Let me explain...if you had a track list of 100 songs on this device, somehow, someway, you're going to hear some of the same songs on shuffle. For instance, song 47 of 100 is more than likely to "randomly" appear the other 99 other tracks. I don't understand why this occurs, but it's something I've picked up.When switched on shuffle, the device's directional pad (left and right) are both leading you to a random song. Which means the song you were just listening too, cannot be played again if you have already finished/skipped it previously. Instead, you will find another random song put in it's place.Another issue I would like to point out is that the directional pad has no edges, ridges, or indention's. Giving navigation to of the device with no eyes may be a little tricky. I've used the input cord for my headphones as to where MP3 player is currently being held. AKA there might be a confusion if you're turning up, turning down, skipping forward or backward sometimes without looking.Volume Control: Simply hold down up to increase volume, down to decrease volume. Simply clicking up or down repetitively is not going to do anything.

Perfect!
Works great for child who needs calming "reset " time during school! No internet access, only access to relaxing jazz that I purchased ( which child enjoys) & transfered for her. I Destroyed fm radio button so child can only access what music is uploaded. Plug in headphones required, so no Bluetooth. Worked perfectly and child enjoys durung downtime at school, bus rides, even on walks. I would highly recommend!

Astoundingly unreliable, but functional MP3 player
Revised AGAIN 2/8/22Replacement for #5 died after less than 45 minutes of use. Garbage.Revised 2/3/22REVISING MY REVIEW-WAY LOWER.In the last YEAR I have had to buy FIVE OF THESE THINGS. The longest serving one lasted about 4 months. The shortest was about 4 days. These things work well while they work, but 110% will absolutely stop working abruptly. These things are positively horrendously manufactured. No QC whatsoever. That being said, if you don't mind having to return one every month, go for it. Here is how all of mind abruptly died:#1: 3/11/21 -5/5/21: Flat stopped working.#2: 5/18/21 - 11/7/21: LOUD Feedback, then abruptly stopped working#3: 11/14/21 - 12/21/21: Charging port MELTED#4: 12/22/21 - 1/22/22: MELTED again#5: 1/27/22 - 2/3/22: LOUD feedback, then abruptly stopped working.I will never order one of these again after I get the replacement for the most recent one.___________________________________________Overall, this thing is pretty damn good for 20-something bucks. I would give it 5 stars, but there are just two quirks that drive me crazy.Cons:-Repeats songs (With 500+ songs, I heard the same song 3 times in 30 minutes on Sunday)-Lag between songs is 2-3 seconds. Doesn't seem like much, but when you're exhausted and need that beat to keep pushing, a lag (and thus hearing your own breath for a second) can take some air out of the sails-Like others have said, make sure you turn it off. There is no auto-off of on/off switch (you hold play button to turn on/off), so you have to remember to turn it off.Pros:-Easy as heck to load-Excellent battery life-Good volume and controls-Great replacement for an iPod shuffle, especially given that used shuffles are going for 80+ on Ebay
