Look smart and work good although big fingers beware, great for nimble fingers

This product is advertised as 8 mm size. Size quoted for momentary switches is always drill size, so the switch will fit snuggly in the hole you drill. The actual size of these momentary switches is closer to 5 mm. Not even close. Pictured is my old 8 mm switch beside the supposed 8 mm switch that was sent to me. Other than that, the switches look to be good quality.

I needed a small, elegant, momentary on switch and this fits the bill perfectly! I have a 67 Camaro RS. I upgraded to LED headlights. Well, the original wiring used the ground path through the headlight filament to supply a ground signal to the relay to close the headlight doors. LED lamps can't work that way. After trying, and failing, to wire in a relay to properly supply the ground, I decided to install a temp manual ground switch until I feel like re-attacking an automatic ground solution. But this turned out better than expected, so it'll likely be a long term "temp" fix!I had already added the A pillar gauge pod years ago, so I was able to place the headlight door close switch near the factory headlight switch.
