These fit nicely on my inexpensive rods (under 1" thick). Small loop for hooks is perpendicular to the big ring, as it should be for hooks to point the right direction. (What is up with those others where both rings point the same way???). Caveat: if your curtain rod is long or wimpy, be aware these are surprisingly heavy and could make it sag. I had to add an additional support bracket in the middle of my wide window.

Although my rod was 3/4 inch. These 1" were too small and I got much better value and more rings with a different seller.

I have pleated drapes and wanted not to use a travel rod but rather a simple pipe rod. The rings were the answer. Simply stitched them to the back of the drapes and they work perfect on a pipe style rod.

I looked for a while before deciding to buy these rings. I didn't want the kind with the alligator clip on them, I don't think they hang draperies as sleek and straight as this type ring. These are just simple little black rings, but they look so beautiful hanging on the rod at the top of my drapes! They're black, but not shiny, they have a nice soft luster. They're completely smooth and easy to drop onto the rods. The small rings are perfect size for holding drapery hooks, not too small but not big and overpowering either. I've ordered 70 total, for two rooms, and I'd do it again. Purchase was smooth both times...

I like these rings. They can hold my heavy curtain. However, I have to return them because they are small for my rod.

Very thin metal rings..but a great value
