These worked great for the wooden cars I made. I recommend getting oak dowels at the big box store rather than pine to use with them. I used both kind of dowels on multiple cars and they both worked, but the oak dowels were much more consistent and went together with less sanding to size. I had one wheel from this order that was not machined correctly. Since I needed every wheel I ordered, this was a big deal. Luckily I messaged the seller and they were super nice. Sent me a few correctly machined wheels over lickity split..

We paired these with dowels and hooks to make drop spindles! Great project and these were a perfect fit!

My husband builds semi shadow boxes and we paint these to use on those. We have purchased these many times and will continue to use them. Exactly as described and look nice.
