I got these as twin pack. I had purchased 1 from another place that was screw middle with plastic, put washing on line and prop immediately slid back in, the weight of the washing was too much. Read the reviews on these and purchased. Not disappointed, the wing nut holding them extended is a metal one. This is able to hold the weight of the washing, so much better it didn’t move, tested it well I had king size damask duvet cover on line (heavy) sheets, terry towelling bathrobes, towels and jackets. The prop held the lot. Surprised the line didn’t snap let alone the prop. So worth the money and the twin pack is a cheaper way to buy if you need a spare, or needing 2, I only used 1 as a test but will use 1either end. So pleased my washing is not dragging the floor.

I bought these when our washing line extension pole broke after many years of use. These are so cheap and the metal is so thin and lightweight, which bends/blows down easily. I’m not happy with these for the price I paid. My advice would be to buy better quality than this.

Poles have no weight to hold line in place had to knock them into my garden to keep them sturdy ..l wouldn't advise buying these.

great product only 3 stars for durability as not used for long enough yet, time will tell. well pleased so far.

Happy with these so far. Seem alot stronger than the flimsy ones we had before that eventually bent in half.
