Leaves no marks
This hammer is nice and heavy and doesn't leave any track marks perfect for all sorts of things from flooring to general carpentry. Seems to be durable so far. The material will take minimal damage of you hit sharp objects. Overall a great tool.

As nice as described
I had a old Stanley dead blow hammer that I bought 20 years ago while in tool and die apprenticeship. Eventually it followed me home and I guess after all those years the atoms started to deteriorate because it just came apart. So I decided to splurge and go all out. This hammer is as balanced and comfortable in hand as everyone says. It's not a hard plastic like my old Stanley, or is it rubber like the cheap black ones that leave marks on everything. It's more like a type of silicone. Whatever it's made of it is the nicest dead blow hammer I've ever owned.

Nice soft face
So far I've used it to align joinery on interior doors I'm making. I can whack it pretty good and not mar the red oak.

Does what you'd expect
There is nothing overly flashy about this hammer, but it's built tough and does its job well. It is also the best brand and you can't usually find it in stores, so I'd recommend it if a sand like filled mallet is what your looking for. Feels a bit expensive but overall great mallet. I'd say because of the comfort and style it's worth it.

Worked well for my project
Used his hammer for my landscaping block and worked very well for most of the time. Toward the end of the project, the ends of the face of the hammer began to open up in beads came out.
