I'm in my 20s with fairly normal/combo skin, but always struggled with mild/moderate acne breakouts, mostly on my forehead and cheeks. Nothing related to hormones like cystic acne, just angry pimples that would almost multiply on my problem areas (T zone). I would jump from cleanser to cleanser, while only trying ones that had salicylic acid in them because that's all I had ever heard of working. This cleanser by HERO improved my skin so much since I started using it last year. I've found it effective at calming my skin, improving my skin's texture, and controlling breakouts, all without leaving my skin feeling dry or stripped. I've paired this cleanser with BYOMA's clarifying serum and they've worked wonders together. I haven't seen a pimple as big in months and will only get one or two small pimples on my problem areas from time to time which is so much easier to spot treat. I'd give this cleanser a shot if you also haven't been having luck with traditional acne-targeted salicylic acid cleansers!

Sensitive skin friendly. Able to remove any residue makeup or sunscreen. Lightweight. No scent which is a plus for me

I have been buying this for a while now. I can definitely say it works amazing. My skin has cleared up and my face isn't as dry and red as it used to be. Its definitely #1 for my sensitive skin and it last months for the price.

Gentle and effective for sensitive skin. Offers very light chemical exfoliation to help prevent and treat clogged pores. Seems to be pretty effective at removing makeup, as long as its not waterproof, or eyeliner with staying power in the lashline. No scent. Packaging is all there and undamaged.

This has been my hold grail cleanser for the past few years. I’ve recently learned it’s been discontinued and I’m so so upset. This is such a perfect cleanser for acne prone dry skin. I could get away with just cleansing and my skin felt clean and still hydrated. It never made me feel dried out. Kept my skin clear and calm I don’t know how I’m going to find a replacement because this was the perfect cleanser

This face wash is light, creamy and gentle. It did not irritate or dry out my sensitive skin. I will purchase again in the future.

I wanted to love this because it sounded like exactly what my skin needs at the moment. My skin is going through it right now. Crazy breakouts and peeling from tretinoin. I’m not sure what is triggering everything but this face wash did not help matters. It felt like it left a residue behind and I saw no benefits and maybe even more acne since using it. Back to the drawing board.
