This is super easy to use and has been incredibly consistent in readings. You can switch between forehead mode and a mode to check the temp of a room (I think). It comes with instructions and batteries and works great right out of the box. The seller sent the thermometer super quickly and it arrived with no issues. The Thermometer works just as stated and seems to be a good quality that will last for some time. I gave it 4 stars because it is so very easy to use on someone else but not on myself. For me it's hard to keep it or get it in the right place. This is recommended for families not a person who needed to use it alone.

Still had the older thermometer that you stick in ear and grandkids wouldn’t let me check their temp with it. This one is so much easier and the read out is quick and accurate.
