Good Value for the Money
I love this sofa. It's not the best quality of material (more expensive couches have thicker material), but that should be expected at this price. It does look and feel expansive. So far, with three kids and three dogs, it has held up well. We've had it for several weeks. We have received compliments on it from neighbors. In my opinion, it is comfortable to lay and sit on, but everyone is different. I feel like it's not too firm but not too soft, somewhat in the middle. One of the arms did crack a bit when leaned on, but I would expect that at this price point. You can't even tell and I'm not going to knock a star off for it because I really do feel like it's a good value for the money. Big enough for a family of five to chill and watch a movie. I don't think you'll find a better sofa in this price range that's as large and good quality as this one. Very pleased with my purchase.

I'm impressed
I shopped around before buying this sectional. I didn't like the idea of buying a couch before seeing in person, but the pricing in store was too high for my budget. The price was so good I decided to give this a try. For a couch in a box, I am really impressed. It is firm yet comfortable. Looks nice in my living room. Only downside was the assembly, it took awhile to figure it out. The instructions were not the most descriptive. I spent an hour trying to figure it out before finding a video on YouTube. That's when I realized the instructions from the company were telling me to do it wrong. There was a portion of it they had backwards. I'm interested to see how it will hold up over time but so far a couple months in, I am happy.

Still great!
Seems to be decent quality for what it is. Made out of basic materials, but seems like it will last. It looks very nice. The bonded leather seems to be durable which is great since I let my big dog on the couch.Update- 4 months of my 100 pound dog and my 230 pound self sitting and sleeping many nights. Still great. It's only comfortable to sleep on for a few hours, but that's not a big deal. Great for sitting

Thin material
This couch was easy to assemble but extremely poor quality! You don’t want it if you have pets, kids or intend on sitting on it. The rivers on my jeans poked a hole in the cushion. Of course I can’t replace the cushion, I would have to replace the whole couch by buying it again! I am so disappointed! We have had it since November and it is already so torn up.

Comfortable enough but falling apart 6 years in.
Bought mine in November 2016 for ~$950. For the money, it's fairly comfortable, looks pretty good when new, and held up alright in the beginning but after six years, the leather upholstery is chipping off on several of the cushions and the cheap interior wood has either cracked or broken altogether and the thing is sort of caving in on itself. This thing's next home is probably the dump but I'd say you could probably get five good years out of it. Overall, 3/5.

Great sectional for the money
I thought buying a leather sectional on Amazon was a gamble. I have to tell you, this was worth every penny. They delivered it in two boxes, it was easy to ensemble, and it looks great. We've had it for about a month and a half now, with two dogs, and it still looks brand new. Leather wipes work great, to clean it, and no break down, after sitting or laying on it. Simple construction and very light and easy to move. I'm impressed, so far.

An absolute steal
I honestly don’t think you could do better for the money. We are a family of 6, and our couches experience INCREDIBLY HEAVY USE. We were looking for something durable that wiped up really easily, wasn’t >$7,000.00. That proved much more difficult than we had imagined. There was no shortage of couches available for the 1800-3000 range, but they weren’t super comfortable and they weren’t super high quality. We ended up deciding to just get a cheap couch for now (our old one had finally broken), and worry about buying a nicer couch when the kids were older... we settled on this one.Frame: it’s made of a combination of some soft wood, and cut strips of about 15-ply plywood. The material while not super convincing to look at, is braced well, and has sufficient give/spring to prevent snapping. It could easily be reenforced on the inside with some 1x4pine to make it incredibly strong. I have found this to be necessary though, because it very strong everywhere that matters.Upholstery: every bit as nice as the $2800 sectional we considered at Ashley, and almost as nice as the $3900 lazyboy we looked at. I’ll update the review if at some point it starts mysteriously delaminating. But it’s a pleasant looking black-brown, doesn’t feel thin, and the texture is soft. It even seems to breath a little - sitting on it for several hours over thanksgiving, my back never started to sweat.Assembly: it took me just under an hour to put the whole thing together. It’s ALMOST Murphy proof. The biggest trick is to stack everything in place the way you want it before you start bolting it together.Summary: couldn’t be happier with the purchase. The value of a $2500 couch for $700. If it lasts 3-4 years, I’ll happily just buy another one.

We Built a Sectional!
There's something satisfying about assembling your own furniture. I got to see how the sections are built and enjoy the process of putting it together. The entire assembly arrived in two separate boxes. Upon unpacking, I did not see hardware, legs or instructions. I contacted Amazon who put me in contact with Poundex. Everyone I spoke to was courteous and willing to help us with a solution. Jokingly, I told my husband it was probably in a secret cubby when I noticed the fabric of the bottom side had a velcro edge. I peeled it back and there were the directions, hardware, and legs! We sorted out all the nuts, bolts, washers and screws. Lined up the boxes, argued over which configuration to use, settled on a configuration, and placed bolts which fit easily into pre-drilled holes, tightened nuts and washers, added legs, set up cushions, and built a couch! By the time the company contacted us with the placement of the hardware, I was already sitting on the finished product. Some reviewers noted that this is not a high-end couch. Well, I'm not fancy-pants wealthy so I can't respond to that. To me, this is high class. It's firm, attractive and well built for home-assembly. It smells like a new car.
