Fantastic outdoor stove
This product is great !! Great size! Not small like others I’ve seen and a breeze to set up ! Looks like great quality too !! The only thing it needs is a small grilling rack for the top if you’d like to grill also. Folds up so easily. It is about 15 lbs so it’s not for people who like to backpack. I bought this for my son and daughters-in-law who love to go camping along with other equipment and one of those nice big camping wagons so transporting it will be a breeze. Plus it comes with a carrying bag for better portability. I think they will be very pleased !!

LOVE IT!!! My new go-to wood stove!
I LOVE this wood stove! It seems pricey compared to the other camping stoves made of stainless steel or titanium, but it is not. Some of the decent stainless steel stoves cost about $30-35, but they are too flimsy and annoying to put together, in my opinion. For an extra $20 or so, this stove is much, much sturdier, and starting a fire, even on breezy/windy days, is pretty easy. Plus, you get a fire poker, gloves and a carrying bag. Also, it’s pretty easy to set up. I live semi-off grid, so, I don’t use this stove just for camping. I use it for simple things like boiling water and small food preparations, when I don’t want to get my rocket stove out or start a bigger fire. So, I guess if you’re looking for something really light for camping, then this may not be the best option because it weighs about 7 lbs. But I would take it for camping despite the weight because it so easy and safe to use. My rocket stove was my go-to wood stove, but I found it to be a pain to control the temperature without having to constantly watch over it, feeding sticks little by little. Otherwise, I would end up with burnt food and very sooty cookware. This oven, on the other hand, has a much larger burn chamber than a rocket stove. So, I can add much larger pieces of wood than the sticks with the rocket stove. Also, the diameter of the opening is much larger than the rocket stove. So the fire and heat are not concentrated in a small area in the middle. The heat is more evenly distributed throughout the surface of the pan. A few things that need improvement are the door and the pot supports. The door is not hinged. So, it cannot be closed. The pot supports get stuck after the first use, but it can be easily fixed by oiling the hinges. That’s pretty much it. Other than these two things, I absolutely love it. Oh, as far as the material goes, I don’t know if it’s cast iron...but it’s definitely not stainless steel covered with some another material. Maybe it’s carbon steel? I don’t know, but it is pretty sturdy. It’s a great buy, and worth every penny!

Very Well built!
Impressed with the manufacturing, very well made-very solid, very sturdy, very robust. Doors work well, seal very well. Cast iron top is large enough for a 12 pan or dutch oven. Pictures are 12" pan and 10" dutch oven. Equally robust some heat retention will be good and designed in such a manner as to direct the heat outwardly when you're cooking. Cast grate is attached with screws. If they aren't stainless already I may replace them with stainless steel. I will use this while camping in my RV or for cooking on a cool night, or if the power is out or anytime a small meal is needed to be made outside. This a IDEAL for an emergency preparedness purchase if you need an efficient cooking devise. One of the reasons I bought this stove was because of the weight. Some of the others only weigh 10lbs. I think those would be less efficient and the materials not as robust.So... I did not buy this for back packing. You are not going 'back packing' with this, weighs way too much for that. Could you bring this along for a picnic? Sure, absolutely. Has a very nice bag to carry it in with two straps, and a Velcro sealed pouch for utensils. My scale says it weighs 17.5 lbs/7.94 kg. Imagine this oven and a dutch oven in a pack... nope. Now if your back packing with mules or pack horse ...maybe, but there are still better options. This is a stove made of steel, cast iron, stainless steel and refractory of some sort.
