New Balance KC786 Tennis Shoe (Little Kid/Big Kid)

There are very few choices for kids tennis sneakers (for actual tennis playing), that come in wide. I was pleased to find them cheaper through Amazon than other online retailers. My son likes them and said they fit perfectly. I did see a couple of reviews stating they run somewhat big, so I ordered without allowing the usual "room for growth." The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is that there doesn't seem to be enough vinyl/leather over the toes and I don't know whether they will age without any holes, especially over the big toe. So far they seem to be wearing fine. Cute style, especially for the younger kids, who don't mind a cleaner look.

I HAVE A WIDE FOOT AND THESE FIT GREAT. I FOUND THAT WOMEN'S SHOES ARE MOSTLY TOO NARROW AND THESE NB786'S ARE JUST PERFECT. I WEAR A WOMANS WIDE SIZE 6 (VERY HARD TO FIND), SO I ORDERED A WIDE BIG KIDS SIZE 4. GREAT FIT. THE SHOE IS COMFORTABLE FOR WALKING AND IS BASIC LOOKING AS FAR AS TODAY'S SHOES GO. I'M 56 YRS YOUNG AND THESE SHOES DO SUPPORT ME WHEN I WALK. THERE'S NO INSIDE RUBBING, WHICH IS GREAT DUE TO THE FACT THAT I HAVE A LOT OF NERVE DAMAGE FROM CHEMO. THERE IS ALSO A LOT OF TOE WIGGLE ROOM. FOR ME.... THIS IS A GOOD FITTING SHOE THAT ISN'T LOUD TO LOOK AT, AND GOES GREAT WITH ALL MY CASUAL CLOSES.

I actually bought these knowing they were too big for my son right now, but he will grow in to them. I don't usually write reviews, but I just LOVE LOVE LOVE these shoes!! They are so beautiful. I wish I had some for myself. :-) Anyway, I can't wait until my son is big enough for them. It won't be too long as he is a very big 2.5 year old. He will likely fit in to these when he turns 3. They are really for a 4 year old, but again, I have a very tall boy for his age.

The leather stiffened after a short use and the shoe started to hurt my daughter on a side. Had to stop using it and bought a different one. I did not downgrade it to 1 star because still I give it a benefit of a doubt that this was simply growing foot issue. Though it did not reflect on other shoes. Nice shoes overall. Only complaint is it doesn't last very long, but then it's our 7-year son who's wearing it. Have yet to find a pair of shoes that will outlast a young boy's energy

Good and durable for my daughter who plays tennis often and she usually destroys shoes quickly. Good for the wide feet she has.

I bought these because the ones that are all mesh are not as well made even though they are both New Balance. These also smell great where the mesh were smelly within 2 wearings by a boy who does not normally have stinky feet!
