Q: : Do i need a neutral wire for this to work? Also can a switch operate both fan and light ?

You need a neutral wire to install. You have to supply power to the light with the switch but functions operate with the remote.

Q: Where do you connect the ground wire?

I would have to ask my husband. However I will say that these fans, because we bought two, we’re a bear to install.

Q: Can you put LED bulbs in these

They COME with 40 watt equivalent LED blubs. This wasn't enough light, so I replaced them with the exact same bulbs available at Home Depot in the 60 watt equivalent, and they are perfect.
