Experimenting with tumbling "sea glass", and was glad another netizen clued me in to the need for this, as well as the required grit. This adds a cushioning effect during tumbling, and allows more space for the grit to get into everywhere necessary. These are reusable for several tumbling sessions, depending on the grit. Very pleased with this purchase.

I gave this 4 stars because of the poor container. They arrived in the bottom of the packing bag and the jar they came in had a busted lid and the ceramic pellets were dumped in the bag. Other than this seller continuing to use a bad plastic jar to mail these in, the ceramic pellets are a 5 star. Now I have to find another container for them.

I was using plastic beads for my last two tumbling sessions, and was not able to achieve the shine I had hoped for. I used these ceramic pieces and finally achieved the polish rocks I hoped for. They are easier to use than the plastic beads and they don’t pick up any of the grit color like the plastic beads did.

Just received today and pleased.The container had busted open from the top and had half the media in the package but a ll was sealed in the outer package. I will definitely be ordering more from this seller.

I'm new to rock tumbling - wanted to reduce stress on my rocks and this was recommended. So far, I've been using the same ceramic media and am on to my 3rd batch of rocks (going through 4 stages with each).
