A good book but the print quality can be better
It is a great book. So far I have no problem with its accuracy. It is a reprint from the main French publishers for Debussy's work. The only problem I have with it is the print quality for the suite of Deux arabesques. The notes are correct, but hard to read. I had to reinforce some notes, bars, sharp, and flat symbols with ink.Apart from this, it is a great book so far. Worth the money.

A nice collection including many famous piano pieces by Debussy
I bought this book for a student of mine who enjoyed her first introduction to Debussy so much that I knew she would appreciate an entire volume of him, and I would enjoy going beyond Clair de Lune and the Arabesques. While I've only had the book for a bit over a year, it seems to be fine quality as the binding goes. The pages are plenty thick as well and the book has no problem staying open if you gently crease the pages. My student and her brother are both enjoying the decently challenging pieces in this book.Since I don't know Debussy's works well, my student and I have found a great companion to this music book to be the following little book which gives information on each of Debussy's piano pieces and stylistic advice, written by someone who knew Debussy well: The Piano Works of Claude Debussy (Dover Books on Music) .

great collection and great production
I am a newbie learner, and have a great piano teacher that have supported my learning through working with original pieces. The fun that I am having is spurring me to collect from the of 'Greats' and their music. This is a great collection of Debussy, and the productiion is top notch, and quality is great and also the print is easy to read and well spaced. The binding is good, but I tend to convert most of these books into spiral-bound for ease of placing it on the piano. For the price, I highly recommend this edition as a collection of Debussy's music.

Doesn't include all solo piano music as advertised
This is fantastic music, and the quality of what's presented is good, I haven't seen any erroneous notes yet. However, it's hard to give it 5 stars when the first line of the description is a lie. This does NOT include all of Debussy's solo piano music from 1888 to 1905. Missing is his Nocturne (1892). Not sure if anything else is missing, I'm not familiar with everything he wrote. Also, a comb binding would be better.

Almost perfect
It's well structured; the passages are in my opinion easier to spot than in other prints of Debussy. I sort of miss Debussy's first book of préludes. I think they should have added also all those préludes. It does not have any fingering recommendations, which might be a blow for some. This was however intentional to honor Debussy's philosophy. He thought fingering guidelines rather limited your technique than improving it. Overall quite nice.

Happy but printing could be better.
The print quality could be better but I'm still glad I bought it. It is still legible but some parts you might want to retrace in black pen. Its around 150 pages so it had more content than I anticipated so I was happy over all with the purchase. Its also a bit more advanced so this would not be a good book for beginners or those who only have a little experience playing piano.

Satisfied,
It's ok. It shows where the sheet music are from in the beginning. I heard durand is usually the recommended version, and the first photo shows some if this info. The size of sheet music varies in the book, some are smaller than other scores. The first piece, arabesque seems to be printed long time ago (or photocopiedold one?), some notes are blur. This made me to give 3 stars because it's very hard to see what accidentals are on these pages(see my 4th photo). It's only the first few pages, and i ended up writing on it myself with a pen after cross checking with other sheet.I overall think it's ok for me, no major issue found to enjoy playing Debussy so far besides the arabesque...

This collection contains many of his shorter piano works and it's great to have
Debussy is definitely one of the most genius composers ever. This collection contains many of his shorter piano works and it's great to have. The print is larger so it's easy to play from. I wish it had some fingerings, but I guess you can't ask for everything.

Fairly good value, though a bit disappointed with the quality ...
Fairly good value, though a bit disappointed with the quality of print. If I didn't know the music well it would make it difficult and in the pieces I didn't know it really slowed me down.Although it says 'lie flat binding' it does not lie flat untilyou are quite aggressive with the spine and even then it still remains open. The music is excellent, I do love Debussy and this is certainly a cheap way of getting all his piano repertoire. The easier pieces are about grade 8 level (Reverie was in the grade 8 syllabus for Associate Board) the others are harder. I can manage the easier ones but the harder ones are still delicious even if you bash through them at a snails pace.

Nice looking cover and collection of pieces, but misprints in notation.
This is a lovely collection of Debussy's works along with a pretty cover. Unfortunately there are a couple of misprints in the notation of of the first Arabesque, and throughout the book certain printing aspects of the notation are not clear, in particular natural signs. A shame as the book actually stays open which is a bonus.

meh... I'd rather pay more and buy the Schirmer's Library version :(
Good collection of pieces. But like what other reviews said, there was no finger numbering... so it was kinda annoying that I had to go to Youtube to learn the fingering from the notes that are uploaded with the music :(

The Monet on the cover in my opinion makes this one of the best books for Debussy
A selection of greats from the master of impressionism. The Monet on the cover in my opinion makes this one of the best books for Debussy.
