It works perfect next to our outside door. The black matte finish is nice. It's strong and the slope is perfect for going up or down steps. It was installed into brick. It is holding up well. Good value for the price.

Very nice product, well made, but if you can't sink a few of the screws in solid wood, use a more secure fastener, such as wing bolts. That's what I did.
