easy to installed and so far have no issue with it.

The nut threaded on the other post by hand, so it wasn't the nut. So I put a socket on it and the post came loose, broken. Their are no access holes to thread the wires in or out. So I don't know how to keep it waterproof when you drill holes in it. Not that I cared. Appeared by the instructions that it mattered which post was connected to the engine battery or the auxiliary battery. No way to tell which was which by the diagram.

The hardware included is not adequate. Included 2 wood screws. Instead of bolts to secure the back lid to make it water resistant and to mount to the desired location. I had to find my own mount hardware.

The input connections are not marked. It should have some indication for the primary (Start), and the accessory battery. Once connected, there is no way to route the cables out of the unit without cutting the case. Other than that, it functions as expected.

Instructions are hard to read. Installed now and just constantly turned on and off while my truck runs. Nor sure if it's really working or not.

To start, instructions are lacking, you have to test to figure out which terminal is the starting battery.Now after 1 season, it is a great "Isolator" as it will not connect the 2 together to charge the 2nd battery.

Purchased this to charge leisure battery in camper van. The unit works but the LED indicator doesn't work. The instructions are sketchy and markings on the unit are non-existent. Thankfully, I know how to use a volt-ohm meter and it works as advertised. I should have purchased a better quality unit.
