Great Price For Great Ninja Figures
I'm not a big ninja fan. I know that's sacrilegious for a G.I. Joe collector to say but I don't remember them playing much of any role besides Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow in the cartoons, and that's where I know my G.I. Joe from. But I can appreciate fine figures and this two-pack is definitely that.I know that these are just repaints of rhe red viper ninja and the Akiko figure from the G.I. Joe movie lineup. The male ninja comes with the same accessories that the red ninja did, except for better painted accessories. I know the original ninja's accessories were just plain black, but you get grey plastic and a nice metallic paint job for the blades on the swords here. The female ninja comes with an all-new head sculpt and her accessories include a scythe-type weapon, a sword and sheath, bow and quiver of arrows (the quiver has the Arashikage symbol on it), and a grappling hook with line. The bow has no string and the quiver is really light on the paint job (just grey for the arrow shafts). Their back accessories are not really interchangeable. The female's quiver's and sword sheath's pegs are too short to get a secure connection in the male's back peg hole, and the male's back weapon sheath's peg is too long to get a flush fit to the female's back. The alternate heads are where the money really is here. The female's fox mask and the male's demon mask are well done, and if they weren't part of this package I probably would've just passed on this. There is a bit of articulation hinderance, with the female not being able to look down well and the male not being able to look up well either. The female figure also has an issue with single-jointed elbows that hamper her a bit, but are able to more or less make that 90 degree bend. I don't have any paint issues to really complain about, with either head sculpts or the bodies in general. The packaging was definitely an experience. It is not my first interaction with plastic-free from Hasbro (the Fortnite figures have already been doing this), but it wasn't bad. It arrived in its brown shipper box. The package art is fantastic, as is expected from the Classified line. The figures were taped and tied down to their own tray and their accessories were in their "locker", and their accessories were divided between two paper bags. It was a pain to get the figures off of their tray thanks to their tie downs, but all in all it wasn't a bad experience. I overall really liked the experience, and I hope other collectors will too.Having no plastic window was not an issue for me, and if you like the box art its as simple as keeping the box. If you still want to keep it sealed its the same as just keeping the box, and if your argument is you don't know what is inside, since you won't open it how does that matter? So, what I guess I'm saying is, go ahead and open and enjoy your purchase!

A great addition to your G.I., Joe classified collection!
The G.I. Joe collection has had a mixed history with blue ninja action figures. Their first one was a re-painted dice figure that came with a weird ninja swinging Scythe on wheels vehicle. That figure had almost no blue on it’s costume. The next closest thing were Lee light blue outfits of snake, eyes, apprentice Kamakura. it was an all right figure, but comic book fans always wondered why he was suddenly switched from his comic book green outfit it also first appeared as a sigma, six figure, which it also was a stigma for traditional G.I. Joe figure fans.but these guys have finally got it down! They have a sleek modern, takes on a traditional ninja outfit with subtle model, modern camouflage and armor pieces. They come as a pair with one male and one female figure. They offer a wide wide variety of weapons to equip your figures with, and for the most part, the two figures can hold all their weapons at the same time without having to leave something behind in a storage container. Nothing bugs me like not being able to fit all the equipment packed with a GI Joe on the figure. But I think the best option are the alternate heads for the two figures they come with a historic Oni demon mask for the male character… Although you could probably put it on the female too, if you wish… And a Kitsune fox mask for the female.with those combinations, you have a variety of options on how to equip and disguise your ninjas and give them individual characters and personalities. This is maybe the best ninja set to come out of the G.I. Joe collection sense storm. Shadow was released Wayback in 1983.

A fine addition to army builder collectors!
I received the blue ninja 2 pack on Monday before opening and inspecting them yesterday. As a fellow Gi Joe Classified novice buyer, I think these blue ninjas look cool in-hand. When Hasbro first revealed them, I almost decided to pass them because they seem to be a simple repaint of the red ninja which I also like but wasn't one of my favorites but the female ninja and alternate heads actually changed my mind. I wish they were a little cheaper (something like $40) since the package is now cardboard instead of plastic and the figures + accessories are retools. However with Hasbro charging their Classified figures to now $25, you do get more out of your buck since it has two different blue ninjas, a load of ninja weapons and two masks (oni & kitsune). The box art looks great and fits with feudal japan theme of these blue ninjas. There are a few nitpicks including the female ninja having the same poor elbow articulation carries over from the Akiko figure mold and the box not being collector friendly since you can't see the figures inside so there is worry of theft or bad paint app quality. Overall, a nice addition to my cobra ninja army led by Storm Shadow.

Great Ninja Additions To Your GI Joe Collection
These figures turned out pretty darn good. The only drawback are the plain stock heads that come attached to the figures. But the silver lining are the accessory heads that come with the set. The Fox mask for the Kunoichi, and the Demon (Mara The Demon) mask for the assassin male Ninja. They make this set worth it for the set, all by themselves. The body sculpts are excellent, especially the Kunoichi, which is an improvement on the stock sculpt from the original body from the movie Snake Eyes Akiko figure, specifically the feet. Akiko's feet were that weird high heels sculpt that makes the figure difficult to stand up. This Fox Kunoichi had flat boots, and she stands perfectly. Add to her the different accessories like the sickle blade, and the bow and arrow quill harness, and she's a vast improvement on the previous iteration. The male Assassin Ninja has the same accessory set as the GI Joe Red Ninja Assassin figure that was released last year. But his body sculpt looks fine and his mask is a markedly improvement to the Red Ninja mask painted blue, that's included in this set. A very good set to expand your Cobra line-up.
