Easy install. Fits just like the original
Fits exactly like the original and eay to install. Take the door off the washer first. Only issue is have to push the door in while it latches or it won't catch all the way when starting the wash. Not sure if the rubber seal needs adjustment or maybe needs a shim, but not a big deal. Good price. Way cheaper than having a repair guy come out to the house and can keep that old washer running.

Replacement handle
We purchased this to replace on my mother's Frigidaire front-load washer.The unit is about 10 years old and over time became a little loose. Eventually the door fell off. We called a local applicant repair company and the technician informed her that the unit was too old for him to replace with OEM parts. My husband located the model unit here and just installed it himself. The door wound up needing to have the entire ring replaced; only the hinge.This was a huge relief to my mother, who was worried that she would have to just replace the unit because of the broken door. I'm so glad that my husband checked Amazon and found this Frigidaire part and was easily able to install it himself.

Just what we needed
Our Frigidaire Affinity washer door had always been a little loose and finally, after ten years, literally fell off. After contacting Frigidaire, customer service, and receiving a parts guide, we determined this was the part we needed. Unfortunately, Frigidaire was out of stock. Placed the order here and within days our washer door is just like new. Excellent value.

Install Tip
If there is any loosness with the door, use hot glue on both sides of the door. Hold the white plastic sleeve in place even when the little tabs break. On the white door panel apply a thin bit of hot glue where the hinge is pressed by the plastic. Just run a little bead along edges. Let the glue cool until it's barely warm then put all the screws in. 10/10 fix.

Took Frigidaire weeks to send.
All my appliances are Frigidaire and my washer door went array. I ordered this item from Frigidaire . com and they were out of stock and had to back order. I reviewed Amazon and found the item that was the exact same item and fit. I ordered it, it came in 2 days, my son installed it and Yippie, no more problems. I had almost 3 weeks of dirty laundry in the washer just waiting for this part and Amazon saved the day. From now on, I will go to Amazon first and foremost every time.
