Simple Fun for Your Bunny
I purchased this because my bunny has crazy teeth and he needs something solid to chew them down. I wanted something that combined more than one type of chewing material, but still as solid as I could find. I thought the combination of lava brick and wood might be just what he needed. When my brick arrived it was one solid piece. The only issue I had was that one of the wooden pieces had fallen off the side. This wasn't a major issue, and the bunny needed his chew toy, so I just went ahead and used this as planned. The brick seems to work well. It has held up to chewing for several weeks and is still in one piece. The other side pieces are still attached too. This hasn't done exactly what we wanted it to, but that is probably due to my bunny and not the toy itself.

Squirrels like them!
I give these to the squirrels I rehab to keep their teeth filed. They seem to enjoy them. The little wooden pieces fell off upon opening though and they do make a bit of a mess after they’ve been gnawed on but overall good product and have purchased more than once.

A surprising hit among hares
I am incredibly impressed! Firstly, I have two buns housed together, a Lionhead and a Silver, both female. Both are pretty finicky about what they will play with. I have quite a stash of untouched toys. Secondly, I'm (overly) protective of them. I do not want them to eat anything potentially bad for them, I am very careful about them being handled and during a storm I am always by their hiding spot, doing my best to make them comfortable and not feel scared by the thunder. While looking at the toy I saw that the wood pieces were glued on rather than embedded. I've read that most glues those their toxicity when dried. This, and the fact that Kaytee seems to be a good brand, has eased me in my worries about the glue. After looking it over, I placed the block in their cage and watched magic happen! The Silver, Arwen, who is the most passive, was the first to approach and sniff at the new toy. After a brief inspection, she lost interest and went back to nibbling on her much preferred tunnel of hay. After this, the Lionhead, Nazgûl, hopped up and seemed to immediately take to it! I was elated to see her take to a toy so quickly. This was hours ago and Naz has put a good sized dent in the block. This product has our approval! It was shipped extremely quickly, got here in perfect condition, and is a great way to help trim down your rabbits teeth.

Wooden piece fell off
This seems like a great idea but one of pieces fell off before I got it. I do think my bunnies will like it but I’m bummed it’s damaged. I also thought it came with something to hang it but I probably didn’t read good enough. I don’t want to return it because it’s a pain in the butt to drive in to return this. I hoping to get a partial refund.

... brought me and I decided to give her a better life seems to like it - as really it ...
Ms Minnie a wild field mouse my cat brought me and I decided to give her a better life seems to like it - as really it is NOT a toy, they have to have something to grind their teeth down on, if not in those type animals, they continue to grow. In the wild of course they have lots of rocks and such. But its called a toy really ins't, depending on what you have you can read up on the species. This is just a common field mouse, they are much larger than a common house mouse, and are herbivores feeding mainly on seeds, greens, nuts, vegetables, but I don't mind sharing. She is very cute and quite a social creature - contrary to what most believe. However, I would not purchase a cage raised small animal as a pet, especially for children as many parent do. Their life span in the wild is only about a year in captivity maybe 2-3 (for a common field mouse - which some people call rats but they are not rats or in that classification. Very rough and for that job so don't buy it thinking its a toy its for a particular use.

Absolutely poor quality. The first time I gave it to my rabbit the bits attached with a hot glue gun came off and lucky I was there to see before anything happened. Will not purchase again

I'm from Ontario, Canada. I've bought 2 of these Lava Block Chew Toys ONLY because the -Lava Ledges- arent available in stores where I live anymore. Here on Amazon Lava Ledges are STILL too expensive. *My previous Ratties have disliked any type of Lava Stone or Lava Block Chew Toy. *But my 4 girlies I have now, their teeth and nails have been growing fast... And so nervously I put 1 block into their cage. ★THEY LOVE THESE LAVA BLOCK CHEW TOYS!★ ‼️IMPORTANT: WATCH your pet when you give it to them. It may take them time to get used to it or find out what it even is. BUT once they do..DO NOT leave the Lava Block in their cage for too long! - their teeth grind down quickly. - nails as well. - they eat the block. (Eating it is okay, but not a lot at a time)

These are awesome for rodents ! Yes the wooden add one fall off quickly but the glue is none toxic & the value lies in the stone not the wood decorations lol.
