I bought this for my garage and it works perfectly. I had a wire basket before which was pretty useless as the mail would fly straight through the slot and end up all over the floor. My routine before the snail sakk was opening my garage, park my car in the driveway, get out of my car and pick up the mail from the garage floor, and then get back into my car and park it the garage...well not anymore. The installation for the snail sakk was a piece of cake, plus the adhesives are super strong so I'm not worried about magazines either. The sakk opens up a little bit on the edges when I open my garage but nothing falls out since the mail bag is well secured. I love the cream color and the design is pretty adorable too. Thank you for not making me regret installing a mail slot in my garage door.

Amazing mailbox! It was easy to apply and sticks very well. Even though it is inconvenient to have a mailslot in your garage door, this is a perfect solution to driving over mail on the ground every day and the mail does not fall out when the garage door is opened!

I've been waffling over whether or not to buy the snail sakk for months, and finally decided to buy it. It works very well, and the only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is that it is a bit tricky to hang initially, and that it doesn't fit the original mail slot (which is troublesome based on size restrictions of the location) or provide quite as much insulation as I had hoped it would. Mail slots are so drafty...my search continues. That being said, it is perfect for catching our mail and keeping it away from eager puppies. Don't think my mailman likes it though, I think it is harder for him to push mail through the slot now.

Always awesome when I stumble across a random household problem and then find an already-thought of solution. Even better when that solution is both extremely well-made and aesthetically pleasing. This mail pouch is installed in less than 15 seconds (literally) with adhesive Velcro strips, and is very well designed. Mail goes in with ease rage magazines and small envelopes alike, and retrieving it is also a breeze. Better yet, it’s made out of thick suede material, is embroidered, and actually looks fantastic on our door. In short: don’t go to Lowe’s trying to gerryrig a solution for catching mail out of a mail slot; go for this pre-made solution that someone clearly put a lot of thought and effort into designing. Bonus: the dog won’t eat all of your bills.

Wanted something to catch mail delivered through door slot in older home instead of picking up from floor. I was getting desperate and thinking of making something myself when I saw this. Looks great and works perfectly.The tape is in two sizes...use longer piece for top and short piece for inside attachment. If you want it to lie flat, first put the inside shorter tape right under the mail slot and attach mail catcher. Measure for placement of top tape from there.You can slip hand through side to get the mail. Exactly what I wanted.

I like that it keeps the mail together and off the floor. It also cuts down on cold air coming into the house. Our mail slot has a flap on both the inside and outside. The inside flap is inside the sack and does not interfere with the mail coming straight into the sack. Nice quality and the cream colored sack on our white door looks attractive. Worth the cost.

I had this product on my wish list at $45, but felt it was too expensive. At $35, I grabbed it. Like other reviews, with a mail slot, mail ends up all over the floor, pets play with/chew the mail, people can peek in and there is a draft. The sack helps with all these issues. Installation took 5 minutes and couldn't have been be simpler. The cream color matches nicely with my walls and rug. To help more with the draft and peeking issues, I will put double-sided tape on the sack to the left and right of the mail slot. Perhaps the designer/manufacturer could provide that in future sets. The sack has been up for a few days. So far, my 2 cats haven't considered it a vertical scratch board!

This works perfect and exactly what I needed. Very easy to install. My mail slot is located on my garage service door. My mail would get wet laying on the floor and my new puppy thought it was fun to rip up the mail. I was afraid that it might be too cold for the velcro strips to stick, I live in Minnesota and it was only about 5 above when I applied the strips, but they have held up. The only problem was my dog did tear it down a couple times but I was able to stick it right back up. So far, my dog has left it alone, but I did get a couple of bigger clip magnets and attached them to my steel door and just clipped the corners of the bottom of the sack. I'm thinking she won't pull on them and I sprayed it with bitters.
