The clasp was a game changer for my puppy’s pinch collar! So much easier to take on and off. It adds some length to the collar, so I had to remove a link, but I can add it later as he grows. The clasp mechanism is easy to depress and glides easily into the fitting.

Awesome addition to have to your prong collar to make it easier to take on & off. Also love that it has a “lock” feature so it prevents the collar from falling off.

This makes putting on and taking off the prong collar so easy! Genuine Herm Sprenger so quality you can trust! Must have…you will need to remove a link to compensate but very easy to install.

I thought this would make it easier to put on and take off my dogs prong collar, but it takes just as much time and is a little more difficult because my dog isn’t used to the buckle being attached under the neck as opposed to on the back of the neck behind the ears. It’s not the worst thing in the world and ultimately just comes down to training the dog to get used to a difference process, but it didn’t save the time that I was hoping it would. Because the buckle is so sturdy and secure and actually takes quite a bit of force to push it in and release the buckle. On one hand that’s great for security knowing that it won’t fall off if your dog is trying to get away, but on the other hand it’s a bit annoying to deal with it every time you put it on and take it off. I gave it five stars because it’s probably the best one on the market as far as reliability and strength, but I’m not sure it’s a necessary item as it requires you to remove some prongs from the collar to make it fit the same.

This is an awesome addition to my dogs collar. The only issue I have is that the latch cover has a tendency to slide off while I am attempting to buckle the collar.

A fantastic improvement over the previous fastener for the Herm sprenger collar...very easy to use and most of all a very positive locking mechanism that ensures the collar is properly fastened ..if you have a Herm sprenger prong collar , grab one if these and upgrade, youll be glad you did ..

My trainer recommended the herm sprenger collar and it was so hard to get it on and off my dog. Arthritis is my enemy but with this buckle it makes it so much easier to get it on and off my fur baby. Best money spent.

This made putting on and taking off the prong collar effortless. It's really useful for other people who aren't used to unhooking the prongs that may struggle.
