Yes, this would work for that material. For mildew stains we also have a Mildew Stain Remover that works great on tough mildew stains.

Q: does it work on vinyl material that has sticky adhesive on it?

Not sure. Worked great on dirt. Spray sticky spots with WD40 wait and wipe off. WD40 main ingredient is fish oil.

Mildew Stain Remover is specially designed to remove mildew stains. This is for the general cleaning of vinyl and other surfaces.
