A cheap bulk alternative to supermarkets
Japanese food is a hobby of mine and I tend to buy the staple ingredients - soy sauce, panko, sushi vinegar - in bulk either online or in oriental supermarkets rather than supermarkets where it's £3 for a small packet. I found this Emma Basics range through Amazon and have bought all the above - all good value and do the job. Big, crispy bread flakes (not crumbs), fried up fine. I did underestimate the size of the bag I was ordering- it's huge! Storage is an issue but I'll just have to make more katsu to use it up. Will definitely buy again.

No Dislike - Crispy Crunchy Chicken
Panko Breadcrumbs I L̾o̾v̾e̾ L̾o̾v̾e̾ L̾o̾v̾e̾ 😍 Panko, from the day year's ago I was recommended this, I've never look back. Occasionally in desperation I've resorted to normal breadcrumbs sadly they can't compete. Once you've tried Panko there's no going back you'll be addicted just like me. Takes Fried food to the next level, you're on a Fast and Furious ride of food Discovery, Panko is what gives the King Prawns 🦐 it's crown 👑 The Fried Chicken will take your taste buds to the gates of Heaven you'll be praying for more. I know what you're thinking I'm exaggerating you say, I say not. Yesterday for the first time I made Air Fryer Coconut Chicken Thighs I'm trying to save electricity and oil, but I don't want to compromise on taste I must admit I was worried I wouldn't find it finger licking good, I'm a girl who likes her chicken. I battered 4 skinless boneless Chicken Thighs, yes you heard right, BATTERED like Cleopatra in milk. Flour, Herbs, Amazon Lemon Pepper, Salt, Black Pepper and Cayenne Pepper, I want warmth in my mouth as gentle as the raising sun on my face in the morning, not a volcanic explosion of lava 🌋stir the dry ingredients adding water, you can add an egg but I ran out, mix until you get your desired thickness mine was about medium you want it to stick to the chicken like vaseline on dry skin or mud on pigs, that's your new skin. Finally dip my insulated chicken in desiccated Coconut mixed with my faithful Panko Breadcrumbs now my chicken was wearing it's Michelin Man coat it's ready to cook, I don't mess about when it comes to my chicken. Spray with oil in a single layer in a 1400W Air Fryer, cook at 190c for 30 minutes, this is meant to cook in 20 - 22 Minutes, but remember its wearing a double coat and I filled the basket I was being lazy didn't want to cook in two batches. REMEMBER to turn them over half way through the cooking time and spray with oil again. THE TASTE TEST - Tears of joy 🥲OMG 😋😍🤤my taste buds exploded like fireworks 🎇 on New Year's Day I couldn't believe how Crispy Crunchy it was, for a split second I was worried about my teeth cracking. Please Please when heating leftovers do it in the Air Fryer, the microwave will soften the coating but air fryer will maintain it. 190c for about 7 - 10 Minutes, spray with oil, turning half way through the reheat time. THIS IS ONLY A GUIDE, INCLUDING The Coconut Chicken, different air fryers different ingredients will produce a different recipe, this recipe works for ME. Bon Appétit Will I be buying this again❓what do you think 🤔 Recommended Purchase ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent price and lightning fast delivery

Worth the money
Good size tastes lovely

Cheap but certainly not basic
Really nice panko, better than those I've bought in supermarkecialist stores for considerably more money. Check what size you're ordering - last year I ordered the bigger size not realising I'd just bought a pillow of panko!
