Gotta say... i was very skeptical of this product. But the longer jag in conjunction with the patch material pulls way more copper/carbon off per slide through the bore. I was shocked at the first patch that came out.... I took off one star because there is no way to make the patches stick to this jag, so it's a little bit of a balancing act. But you can get the hang of it pretty quickly. Just wish there was a way to make the patch stick to the jag on the sides.

It is a very good brush to use with copper remover, unfortunately the pricing is out of wack. It costs as much as 8 brass brushes. Therefore is cheaper to use brass brushes even though they don't last but a couple of cleanings.

Works great and doesn’t give me false copper marks on my patches with the solvents. So far has held up well and will buy another when I wear this one out.

Cleaned out my 1911 barrel with one of these after 20 rounds of defense ammo. Cleaning took less time and the patches squeaked letting me know it was completely clean.
