Really cute!
The novel definitely pokes fun at the “women are kidnapped by aliens and crash land on a desolate planet and are stuck” trope. It felt like it was using Ruby Dixon’s Ice Planet series as a premise and asked the question “But what if the women were rocket scientists?” The humor was enjoyable and engaged me from the first page.I’m definitely curious to see how the rest of this serious will unfold considering we have currently destroyed any hope of there being home-planet shenanigans for the alien boys and have seemingly capped the number of possible romances. I’m predicting a spin-off series in the future.

So fun
I think this book is what I thought IPB. Smart girls don't kiss aliens is fun, funny, lots of great banter. I think the culture transition was fast for the male aliens but it was funny for them to figure it out. Cassius is just the best house alien. The only draw back was the middle dragged a bit.CN: sexual harassment, alien slave trafficking, bully neighbor

Fun abduction reversal
I like the role reversal in this story on alien abduction. Beginning with abduction, these women are no damsels, and quickly flip the abduction around. While a comedy featuring aliens as characters, I was pleasantly relieved to find this book wasn’t too hyper and silly. It has some plausible plot development.Surprisingly, it’s not the aliens or space travel that feel ridiculous in this book, but the romance. The male aliens are all too perfect and one dimensional with insta relationships. But then that’s often the downside of the hero in a standard romance.I expect this book may be too off kilter for many, crossing genres, as a sci-fi steamy comedy. Romantic comedy fans will balk at the aliens. Sci-fi fans may balk at the steamy romance and alien portrayal. Fantasy fans may balk at the merger of fantastical creatures with real world science.Despite the odd combination of concepts, this book has some good bones. It’s refreshing that the women save the day. It has some unexpected realism at times, like normal life and office tensions.Three stars for an entertaining if kooky read.

Fun!
I gave it five stars for many reasons. Is it great literature? No. Is it something I'll remember on my deathbed? No. And the premise is ridiculous. But it's the perfect fluff read. It's so fun to have the usual hot alien warrior tribe tropes turned around. Dude may be eminently bangable, but that doesn't mean I want to give up A/C, the internet, restaurants, mattresses, or any other modern convenience for that. If I had a chance to get back to modern conveniences, I don't care how hot the guy is, I'm going. And that's what our heroines do.How the stowaway aliens view Earth are several other stories.I also appreciate that the characters aren't just cookie cutter copies of each other. The two books have already set up differences in opinions and responses from the women and the aliens, so I have hope that the rest of the books will do the same. Can't wait for the next one.

It is rocket science!
If you love Ruby Dixon's IPB series, you will get a kick out of this one. The abducted females were not going to except primitive conditions living with a bunch of hot barbarian aliens. Nope, not when they are actual rocket scientists! So, they fix the spaceship and head back to earth, with stowaways. A group of the unmated hunters end up going back to Earth with them. Now, Kimmie and her friends have to help Cassius and his friends navigate Earth without getting caught and the fun ensued. So, much giggling as I read this book. The sweet spiciness made the romance hot. Definitely, A great read for those who enjoy romcoms.

Hilarious
This is a funny and cute romcom. All the characters are likeable. It is nice to see the man/woman roles reversed. The male alien Cassius is still the protector, but Kimmie is the provider and well educated. I look forward to the second book to see what happens with Vidanric. How will he come to accept his fate and how things play out with Ellen.By the way, the aliens are not green like they appear on the cover. This is one thing I wish the author would update.

a crazy, interesting idea but not my jam
This is a FM modern romance with smart girls and alien men. It was a crazy but interesting idea; but it was a bit too much for me. It was fast-paced with a lot of stereotypes of smart women and ignorant barbarian men from another planet. I don’t think this is my jam though it wasn’t horrible.

Fantastic!
As someone who has read Ruby Dixon’s IPB series, is friends with a bunch of engineers and physics graduate students, AND loves steamy romance books, this book checks all the boxes!

Ridiculous but a riot
If you've ever watched Earth Girls are easy, the 80s b movie with Jeff Goldblum and Jim Carey you'll have since idea of how this goes. The first two chapters are a bit 'we did this to get here', but once they get back to Earth it's much better and the story unfolds properly. Enjoyed the enthusiasm of the aliens and their reaction to our life.My food prayers will forever be "subscribe and ring the bell, amen."
