Very nice unit, install was easy and performs well and is more attractive than other units I looked at. Did have an issue with the light not staying on more than a second, but a simple phone call and they sent a new light unit to me right away and fixed the issue.

Never Again...
I bought the Roll N Lock A - Series for my 2018 Chevy Silverado. It got delivered fine, even though it's exactly 96lbs. So I spent a lot of time watching the install videos, carried the heavy thing out to the truck and went to work. After cutting the holes in the spray on bedliner, attaching all the brackets, I finally lay on and attach the canister. I look for the side rails and they are not there. Completely missing one of the main components that the cover slides along. So I thought maybe, somehow, that they are in the canister laying long ways, to conserve shipping space. So I start to pull out the cover, and they are definitely not there. But that's not the worst part. The worst part is that the bed cover is not even the A-Series that was listed, and that I paid for. It was the M-Series. I bought the one that is metal powder coated, but they sent me the vinyl covered one which I specifically did not order, or even want for that matter. So you are taking your chances ordering a Roll N Lock. And I can't begin to tell you what a nightmare returning this thing is. You might as well hang up that idea. There are far more companies to order a very similar cover, for almost half the price. And I'm not talking about the cheap tri fold vinyl covers, I mean ones just like this, if you look on Amazon. That's what I plan on doing. Too much trouble to gamble on what you might get, for the price they charge.

Bad smell
This product gives off a horrible toxic smell that is almost unbearable every time I open my tailgate. Not sure if it’s the paint or the motor or what but it’s nasty smelling.

Great product great service
I have a Chevy silverado 2500. I installed the roll n lock e-series by myself, it was a little difficult but it wasn't terrible probably took me around 4hrs to complete (Water breaks included). After install I noticed the motor would was only working one way. I called the company and they took care of the situation immediately! I am very happy with my purchase. The convenience of having a cover that is automatic cannot be overstated. The install was simple reference the youtube video it's much more detailed then the included instructions. The companies service is spectacular.

Desert Southwest truck owners beware
Loved product but it just doesn't hold up to the Arizona sun. Have had on truck 5 years and the waffle that secures the aluminum slates has dry rotted and completely separateed. Roll-n-lock doesn't offer a replacement cover for purchase. You can buy the whole drum for $1,800, couple hundred less than new unit. For the price of the drum you can buy two really nice locking tri-folds. Save money and keep shopping if you live in Az, NM, or West Tx

Great product needs better install directions.
This is a great cover. Easy to operate. Be sure you watch the install video on man. website before doing the install because instruction that come with it are useless ( No instructions just pictures ).

Didn't last more than 5 years fo me
I had one of these on a Ranger from the 90s; the Roll-n-lock brand. While I know that is going over 20 years ago, I don't see any real difference in them now. Mine fell apart after about 5 years. It's the plastic parts that crack and the rubber seals that fall off. The lock I could actually keep moving freely with proper lubrication. That leads me to mention, I regularly wiped down the seals with armorall and always tried to go easy retracting it back. I know these problems plague most of these tops, but with this unit, if it's stuck, your stuck since it needs to roll into the cassette. My next truck I had a roll top that didn't roll into a cassette. It rolled up on itself on top. Same problem with the seals and plastic parts, only that one I got 9 years out of but that vehicle was covered and the other lived in parking lots. So now I'm onto trying a one pc hard top and hoping that will be the best all around so long as it can stand up to being out in sunny parking lots while I'm at work.

Don't Trust This Company!!!
I have a Roll-n-lock E Series tonneau cover which was installed by my Chevrolet dealer on my 2019 Chevrolet Silverado LTZ. As you can see from the pictures attached, the paint is peeling from the cover. The product was not damaged or mistreated. The paint just started bubbling up and peeling.I followed the warranty instructions on Roll-N-Lock's website and took it to the dealer who said they could not help me. They told me to contact Roll-N-Lock. I contacted them and was told the warranty had to be handled by the dealer/GM. I looked on Roll-N-Lock's website and it specifically says this item is covered for 5 years. The company says this does not apply to their product when purchased through the GM dealer. Their warranty does not say anything of the kind. This product seemed to work ok until this happened. I will never buy another product from anyone that is a part of this entire line of companies. Don't Trust Them. They do not stand behind their product when it is clearly defective.
