Moxie Girlz Horse Riding Club Doll Monet

Beautiful doll for my equestrian daughter. I bought this doll for Christmas and my daughter is enjoying her quite a bit.

My daughter received these dolls to go with the Stable of the same line of Moxie Girlz products. What my daughter likes is that these Moxies sit on the horses without much fight. This is great because you know how 6 year olds (and younger) can get easily frustrated with such issues. Monet is 1 of 3 of the Horse Riding Club dolls. She has taupe riding boots and a black velvet-flocked plastic riding hat. She even had jodhpurs on, making Monet the most realistically dressed of the Riders. The other dolls are kind of scantily clad (not slutty, but not exactly conservatively dressed) for riding horses! Her feet pop off, instead of just the boots. I understand this concept, being that the apendages are easier to remove and replace. But I worry if you lose a foot, then you have an unfortunate amputee. Which I guess would teach one about tolerance and acceptance... tell that to a kid who wants to dress their doll though. Monet's hair is extremely long, but it is very smooth and silky. Most Moxies have thick, wavy hair, which becomes difficult to tame after a few plays. It's a tawny light brown color. So far, Monet has the easiest to care for mane. I wish, for aesthetic reasons, that her hair was pulled up and back, like a real rider. Would have made for a better look. But, 6 year olds don't really care about that; they just want to brush the hair;) All in all, this is our favorite of the Horse Riding Club Girlz.

The little girl I purchased the Moxie Girlz Riding club doll Monet for loved it. Plus what I really loved is that she had brown hair and green eyes just like my little sweetie:) So yes it was great, plus as usually I waited until the last minute to order it and it arrived on time as promised. My daughter is thrilled with this doll. Don't expect this doll to work like a Barbie. Her boots come off and there are no feet...and the clothes are not really removable. This is a doll to be used as she is. The hair is soft and thick. The hat is a bit more delicate than I would wish for a children's toy - but my daughter is being very careful with it.

This was a gift for my 5 year old granddaughter. She loves horses so I thought this would be a great gift for her. Well, I was right. She loved the doll and it being a part of the horse riding club just put it over the top.

A great doll for the Cricket Walking Horse, but the boots do come off. If you have young grandkids be aware of that fact. The feet are "pegs" and not feet at all!

This doll was purchased to go with a Moxie horse stable and a horse. My granddaughter loved the doll and I plan on adding more dolls and horses to her stable. She is quite the horse enthusiasist. Would recommend.
