This was a Christmas gift for my mom and she loved it. The birds look real and they sound like real birds. The only thing I was disappointed about was it said the birds are supposed to move when they make sounds and they don't move at all.

So, I ordered this for my cat. I was trying to attract her to her new cat tree. You know, lure her with birdsong because she just wouldn't use the thing. She's very interested in birds when the window is open, so I thought that chirping birds would work. Nope. She doesn't even notice it. Catnip didn't work, either. On the other hand, I really like them. It didn't say this in the description, but it doesn't just have a motion sensor to activate, it also starts singing when there's a sudden loud noise, like a sneeze. While they clearly look like plastic birds, they also bob up and down and open their beaks when they sing. So they don't just look like a figurine.

Both birds "sing" and their beaks, heads, tails, and wings move. They do a "call and answer" where one bird sings and moves, then the other one answers in kind, then they both sing and move together.Assembly is a little tricky because the birds' foot pegs have electrical contacts in them, and the birds won't move unless the foot pegs are all the way into the holes in the branches they sit on. The foot pegs are a bit delicate, so inserting them completely into the holes takes some gentle force and a little patience.Once the birds are happily seated, they'll chirp and tweet and dance, and are pretty fun to watch.Solid deal for the price. Recommended.

Product was a resounding success. Everyone that seen it loved it. When it was activated and chipping even fooled my Bunge and had her singing along with it.

My son loves bird, which is why we got this.It's really well made and the bird calls are beautiful. The problem is it seems to be motion censored so it goes off randomly. The batteries (brand new), died in literally 3 days. Now I'm left with a bird statue that does nothing. Would love to know how to fix it from seller
