Allows you to add a aftermarket head unit with ISO connections, plug and play no splicing of wires. For E36 BMW use, you do not wiring to connect to the 6 cd player in the trunk. It just delivers the rest. the power amp under the back seat works great with it. worth every penny

used this to install an alpine deck in my 01 bmw mroadster, i dont know what the 2 plugs actually plug into, but i had to chop everything and reconnect it to the alpine harness. everything is color coded and once chopped and reconnected everything works perfectly.

Absolutely necessary in my opinion if you're installing an Aftermarket head unit! No cutting at all plug and play! Thanks love it
