El filtro no se ajusta a un modelo de 2006 como se anuncia. ¡No puedo poner esto en mi vehículo!

I have a 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser 4.7L V8 and this was the first upgrade I performed when I bought it with 79k miles in Aug 2012. The performance gain is quite noticeable, as is the awesome V8 sound when I stomp it! It's about as quiet as stock when driving gently. On long drives (300+ miles) I've gained 1+ mpg, which results in 25 or so miles per tank, even on drives through hills and mountains. I haven't seen any real mpg gain around town and normal driving but there is the noticeable performance gain with no loss of mpg, either; I consider that a positive! I would recommend the K&N FIPK to anyone looking for actual HP and performance gains, including positive MPGs. You will love it! Oh yeah... it's quite easy to install with clear instructions included!

It’s been on my 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser for a few days and there is a noticeable difference in the noise above 2,500 RPM. But when below 2,500 RPM it’s not noisy at all. There is also a noticeable difference in horsepower, which is nice. Haven’t seen much in MPG because it’s only been on for a few days. Bad: on of the hoses that came didn’t fit. Parts seemed a bit cheap.

Disappointed in quality of the the hardware, it is cheap. The vent and vacuum hoses are the wrong size. Emailed k&n haven't gotten a response, guess I have to call them now.

If you buy this thinking your LC is going to turn into a stop light terror, you’ll likely be disappointed. If you’re buying this to get a little more air into the sweet 4.7 for a touch better acceleration, better mpg and a mean open throttle growl, this is your huckleberry. Seriously, the sound is menacing. The kit is exactly the quality of a $300 intake. I have used Greddy, AEM and a few other euro tuner brand cold air intakes and the quality of this was no worse, and likely better. Aside from the hose coming from my valve cover vent, EVERYTHING fit together like a glove. I would suggest studying the parts diagram before you jump into the instructions as the pictures don’t do a great job showing which washer goes where, etc. If you’re putting this on an LC that sees any dirt buy the K&N dust cover and clean / re-oil the filter often. The install took me about an hour. The LC didn’t have any vacuum leaks and my CEL has not come on.
