If you like gadgets and lights….
Well then you’re in the right place. The basics are pretty simple -They look absolutely awesome. Increased visibility for you and your bike. Following traffic will be able to notice you better, oncoming traffic as well. Now will they know what they’re looking at, once they notice the moving up and down red/white light? No. Because you’ll look either like a small ufo trying to take off or like one of those new fancy EV‘s. Regardless though, they’ll be cautions, which is what we’re going for, in the first place.Install is pretty straight forward like you would install any new pedal set on your bike. They come with a charging station, the LED component is removable and has to be placed in the charging station. Once charged, indicated by the light, you just place them back into the pedals, front or back doesn’t matter, the led recognizes which way it’s facing and changes the color to match the position. It’s pretty cool, worth the money in my opinion. Their Weight is slightly more then plastic pedals and they have adequate Grip.

Very bright (but not too bright), easy to use and maintain
Very visible, easy to charge. The battery USUALLY holds up for up to two hours or so from a full charge if the light is at steady instead of blinking. It's very easy to remove the lights and stick it in the charger since they charge fairly quickly. overall, the pedals funtions very much like any other bike pedal. The main caveat that I want to add in this regard is that they area bit heavier than regular pedals due to the lights and electronics inside (duh). It's not a big deal and easy to get used to, but I wish that it was a bit lighter. I've had the pedals for two years (I think) and they've held up marvelously despite me biking to work and stuff several times a week. There are signs of a bit of wear and tear, but I'm nowhere near the point where I'm even contemplating replacing them. They don't grip as well as the pedals I had before, but I would say they have 80-90% of the same grip and some of the slipping is because of my old shoes.I've also used them in the rain, and they don't break down because of that.I love the lights and how they switch from red to white and back again depending on the way they're facing when I spin the pedals. They're very visible from the side and the back (I have a cargo bike, so idk how they look from the front). They're kinda pricey, but the quality and utility is more than worth it. These pedals are one of the few light accessories that I've gotten for my bike that I haven't replaced at least once. Would 10/10 buy them again for my next bike.

Very visible at night. A must for night riding!
I was a bit hesitant to buy them with the promotional video mentioning the "dynamic circular movement" and comparing them to what looks like a dim taillight. It seems like a lot of marking mess. I'm happy to say after using them that they are actually really good!I highly recommend them. I bought them because I commute on my bike at night. The more visible you are the better. These are a no brainier if you ride on the road a lot at night! The flashing is visible in daylight but where these will shine (No pun intended) is at night with steady light. If you don't commute on your bike at night they do have a pretty good cool factor. These would look really nice in some of the glow rides. If it's worth it to you only you can decide that.It comes with four plastic LED modules that charge by USB-A (What most people just call USB). It comes with a four port USB hub that allows to charge all four modules at the same time. It doesn't come with a power adapter but most of us have an old one lying around. I repurposed an old Apple branded 5 watt adapter and it worked fine. The modules slide into the pedals and magnetically lock in place. The plastic seems durable but when it's in the pedal it's protected by the aluminum pedal so no issue if you were to hit the ground with them. The pedals are aluminum and feel secure and hold your shoe really good. They're not spiky like mountain bike pedals (Not something you want on a commuter bike) but better than most stock bike pedals. I think they are perfect for commuter bikes. I like how the white light always faces forward and red backwards. There's no need to turn them right because it has a sensor that changes the light automatically. They go into standby mode in 30 seconds then sleep mode in 3 minutes. The paper that came with them says battery life is 3+ hours on steady, 11+ on flashing, and 36 on eco flash. I used them on steady for about 3 hours and they were still working so the battery life seems accurate.

I haven't been murdered even once since installing these pedals
I bought these pedals in anticipation of riding in the dark during the winter months. They are very good at their job, I've asked various people I know who have seen me riding, and all say I'm very visible. The pedals themselves seem smooth enough, but have just enough friction that they don't really spin freely. I think that's a good thing. I like how you can pull each individual light out of the frame and plug in for charging, but I do tend to forget that I did that. The pedals work fine without the lights installed, but you obviously won't be blinking in the dark. :) They are a little pricey, but overall I think these are worth the price to increase your chances of avoiding getting run over by a car in the dark.

Good pedals -- great customer service
Bought these pedals a year ago for my student who spends a lot of time riding around a collge campus in the dark. When I opened the package I was impressed by teh heavy-duty feeling of the steel pedals. My kid told me the lights are fantastic -- bright, solid, and easy to use. This summer as he was riding one the the pedals broke. I wrote to the company on a Saturday morning, and woke Sunday to a reply in my inbox, not only offering to replace the pedals with an upgrade, but also expressing concern for my son's safety! Replacement pedals arrived that Wednesday. Needless to say, I'm a Redshift fan for life.
