I would give this 10 stars. I was very surprised of the size, quality and sound. This is SO much nicer than one I bought a few years back, it was a different brand and it was much smaller, the sound did not compare. Not to mention that I paid 40.00 more for the other one. Very happy with this purchase. It is tuned beautifully. Now I need to practice! Very relaxing

I had seen these advertised on social media for quite a while. I initially thought this would be a good item for my granddaughters. What I've decided is it is a better gift for myself. I find it incredibly relaxing to play music on, it helps me unwind after stressful days at work.

This is my second Tongue Drum (first purchase went to a friend who loves music) and I fell in love with this instrument and so got the 14 inch version in D major for myself. The tuning is spot on, the rubber feet on the bottom create a outstanding resonating chamber. The tone is warm, reflective and it is so fun playing 'Hey Jude' or 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' and the 14 note range makes these more complex songs possible. The supplied carrying bag is exceptional and has a outside zippered pocket for the drum mallets and mallet stand. I scan the small sheet music book the came with it with my phone and then print them out on a 8×12 " letter size and use a clipboard as a table top music stand. I Would highly recommend this musical jewel.Tip to optimize the sound: remove the bottom rubber gasket and the emitted sound will be deeper more resonate. Also take a 3 inch circle of regular felt fabric and cover the end of the supplied mallets & secure with a rubber band and your mallet strikes will have a more resonate and non-metallic vibration. You can spend $15 to $30 on felt tipped tongue drum malletts or just do this modification for much less $ and I was able to return my new set of felt mallets that didn't sound as good as the felt modified originals.

I love the sound of the drum. The songs are easy to play if you have heard them before, which most you will know. However the booklet does not explain how to read the music.

I love it! It is beautiful and has many nice songs to learn. Well made sound is calming.

I like the drum but I ordered a 14 inch they sent a 13 inch and I got charged for the 14 inch and im awaiting a reply to have my money sent back . i like the drum to much to wait for another one to arrive. i iordered a green one and got a gold one so i take it as a spiritual sign. and also they refunded the difference so i changed it to 5 stars .thankful

I have bought at least 5 smaller TSD's for myself, family, and friends. We all love them! It made me question if they came larger... why yes yes they do!! The 15" is beautifully wrapped in a twin belt and with a great multi strapped cushioned bag!! It'll protect it from scratches and slight bumps. There's a zippered pocket large enough for the accessories of sticks, their holder, finger caps, extra numbers, and musical book. The book is a better quality and much larger then the one with the smaller drums. Now to sound... WOW!! ITS BEAUTIFUL!! The drum arrived today and I look forward to playing it more!!!

This thing is fun... I can think of no reason to rate it less than 5 stars. The tone and resonance are warm, it's very pretty, a lovely meditation.I researched tongue drums and people with far more knowledge than I recommend hand made drums. Listening to videos, I liked this much more, the others sound tinny, this sounded warm and that's exactly what I've found. It's on my lap right now. This exceeds what I'd hoped.
