Valais east I like the book but I havenT taken the trip to Switzerland yet. The book came well recommended.

I am in love with Valais, when I am there and unfortunately most of the year when I am not there. I love to walk in Valais, and the walks suggested in the book are great inspiration whether I do them exactly or not. When I am in Valais the book is handy and when I am at home in the flatland I can dream a little... I would suggest the book to anybody who like me love to walk in this great corner of the alps. I've done some of the walking with children aged 9, 13 and 15.

Lovely book for summer walking. I bought it for a winter holiday which meant many of the walks were not possible, but it was very informative.

An excellent walking guide with very clear maps. The majority of the walks are either easy or moderate. The background information at the front of the book is very welcome.
