Purchase this brand over a number of years products always quality. The only reason I purchase this one, because I caught the cord in my truck door and rip the cord from the apparatus...

So far it has known 1 out of 3 codes. I used it on my Nissan and it knew the code and I could clear it. On my chevy it did not know what the 2 codes were but u could clear them. Had to take my chevy to a dealer to read the codes. Both cars are the same year. It is great to finally have a code reader at home.

I purchased two more of these so now have them in all 3 of my vehicles. Tired of the check engine light coming on for dumb sensors. Simple plug & fix. You can read the codes and decide which ones are actually critical, and erase the O2 ones without having to go to a dealer or service station. Well worth the $35 bucks !
