Size is not correct
Description lists the dimensions as: 8.74 x 5.59 x 1.65 inches, this is wrong. The display case is barely over 7 inches (looks like 7 1/8th) by 4 inches (ends up being 4 1/4). Unless they mean the packaging, which is still wrong at just under 8 inches by 4 1/2 inches.It looks fine and will work as the holiday gift I bought it for; however, I was hoping the size would be correct as it's a gift for my young nephew.

Rocks were not glued to board
The rocks had come off the back board. Luckily I know my rocks/gems/minerals to reunite them with their names. Would probably be harder for a beginner to do that. Also I’m pretty sure that one rock is misnamed. Cause there is two strawberry quartz on there and one is green. The other one named strawberry quartz looks more like rose quartz. But that’s just me being picky, ocd thing. If you get it for someone who don’t know what they are looking at they wouldn’t notice it, probably.

Super tiny - not good for classroom instruction. Not long lasting as 5 of the stones were off the card just floating in the plastic box.

Very nice product. Great as a present for anyone (age does not matter), who is interested for nature or nature sciences. Guaranteed fun for a long time. Also has an informational value - good as a beginning of a rock or a gem collection — for learning of geology, mineralogy, or just playing gem wizard :))
