I ordered this clock after the one similar that I had quit working. This is the perfect piece for my small library reading nook.

I've had this clock for four years. It still works just as it did on day one. It has a vintage look, keeps time well and is quiet. I also think it was a great value.

Very pretty. Easy to read even from a short distance. Looks classy.

Warning--this clock requires carbon zinc batteries only, which are more expensive, harder to find and much more likely to leak. Carbon zinc batteries are bad. Also the description says this clock comes with batteries--it does not.

It’s a really cute clock and seems to be made well. Be sure to read the fine print- in the product specs for T says 1 AA battery. (You know, the alkaline ones that nearly everything requires so you buy them in bulk!).BUT this one needs an AA CARBON ZINC BATTERY.No big deal, just have to make another purchase but this should be more apparent in the description and when ordering. It wasn’t until I saw the big red sticker on the back of the clock that I realized.So order some different batteries when you buy it.I’ll write a review on how it works when I can get it to work. Alkaline batteries won’t work. (I tried)
