Works well. As good as the original.
I like the clear plastic coating around the glass. If the glass breaks it won't fall into the food or on top of anyone. The plastic coating keeps it held together.

After a long search for replacement globes for my hood track lighting I found these. They are a very solid glass that will protect to cover bulbs. They thread (screw on) easily and fit perfectly. They are more solid and easier to thread than the originals that came with the light. The seller packaged them nicely so that they were in perfect condition.
