After a few months of use this replacement head is holding up well. As such, I'm inclined to believe it is legitimate OEM and not a knock-off.

I mistaking purchased a lower priced generic replacement and it pulled my stubble and irritated my skin. After replacing that with this original Braun head I had none of those problems. Definitely worth paying more to get the original Braun head over the less expensive generic ones.

This beats the 92S for a clean shave and durability. The only problem with this head replacement is the durability. This will last 3-6 months unless combined with Harry's Shaving Gel or similar products. A chemical reaction will cause the head to rust/disintegrate and possibly cut you while shaving. The 92S has the same problem with rust but with less durability.

The hubby loves when I get him a new sharp blade, and I love that they last now 18 months.

I have the 9 series pro shaver and I love it, closest shave I’ve ever had. Very pricey but if you can afford it, it’s worth it. Equally this blade is excellent but too expensive and mine do not last 18 months. I use it everyday and it starts to pull and needs replacement after 10-12 months. It would last longer if you’re ok with some pulling and grabbing, but not me. Put the new blade on and I get that smooth comfortable shave.
