It all depends on if you like the taste. Some people I know hate it, I think it's ok. I don't particular love the taste but put in to perspective of energy drink it's my favorite. Why I like 5 hour energy: If I need a pick me up and don't want too much liquid, red bull, monster, coffee. This is a great item, it seems to last several hours, gives me energy without overdoing it like, don't feel like I need to run around to burn off energy. Feel better about it then taking energy type pills. My favorite flavor is still "berry" but sour apple is a good alternative to switch things up.

I actually have no problem with the product. It's always worked for me. But I had a big problem with the seller of the product - South Texas Depot! They deceive you into thinking you're getting 12 bottles "4 count pack of 3" but I only get a single pack of 4. Where's the "pack of 3"?? I would not have ordered 4 bottles for $33 if I had known! I filed a complaint to Amazon and they gave me a full refund. i don't know why they let sellers like this stay on there who got only a 45% positive rating!

Five hour energy works. That's why I've been a long time customer. I just simply don't care for the taste. I usually have to rinse my mouth immediately with water after drinking in order to prevent the gag reflex. I normally purchase them from Wallmart where I can get 10 extra strength for $19.99. With this new flavor the separate taste of the sour apple is good, but you will still taste the underlying medicinal cough syrup type flavor. I think it's tolerable but it still taste like five hour energy.
