Minn Kota1810225 Talon Pontoon Edge Mount Kit

This is a very strong mount but it will flex under heavy load. Make sure you use the outside ribrail bolts or it will fail. I read comments where some folks didn’t want to drill through their ribrail or use the under-block. Folks you better not omit that part because that’s where you get a majority of its strength. When my Talon is down at the sandbar and boats are kicking up big wakes this mount takes a lot of pressure. It will bend and flex quite a bit but if you leave off the ribrail bolts and under-block it’s likely the two deck bolts will pull through your decking plywood or simply break the plywood… Hope this helps!!!

Worked as expected but since it’s a universal design in my case I needed to bolt through a support beam and needed 5” bolts instead of the 2-1/2” bolts they supplied.

Product is as expected, have not mounted yet.

Took about 30 min with this attachment to install the shallow water anchor on my pontoon. What an awesome addition!

Limited to certain pontoon decks. If you have a support or box metal sport channel at end of deck this won’t work under deck. Returned for refund.

Ordered This last summer and just opened the box and low and behold no Talon bracket in the box. It was 4 cans of disinfectant spray. Not a very happy person right now
