Disney Princess: Storybook Collection Advent Calendar: With 24 Magical Books to Enjoy

I have given a lot of advent calendars out over the years and this was one of the best.I have given this to my granddaughter aged 3-5 each of the last two years and I’m giving her the new one with the activity book this year. She has absolutely loved them even though some of the stories are repeats from the previous year.The first year she carried the books around and kept wanting someone to read them to her.This year I’m giving it to another three year old and expect that she will also love it. I’m also giving one of the other storybook Disney calendars with the activity things to a five year old boy.

This was awesome, and the best part is, I rewrapped the books back up so that we don't have to purchase again for next year. Winning.

This was perfect for my princess loving book toddler. She loved selecting her book every night before bed and reading each and every story. She would light up and ask “who could it be”?

My niece may like these a little too much.. she constantly wants to wear them, just because they're disney princesses. She's not even injured and wants to wear them

I purchased this advent calendar for two of my nieces last Christmas, and then purchased two more this year one for my neighbor, and one for my friends little girl… They absolutely love it, but just remember it’s huge!!

TL; DR: 5/5 if you’re buying for the first time. Duplicates from previous years cause the rating deduction.My kids love these advent calendars, and I like them better than advent calendars that will give them candy or more small toys they don’t need. The small books promote reading, and my kids are excited to see what story is going to be next! They collect the books and have a special spot for them.There are a lot of great details. The paper covering each small book has the profile of the princesses. The color scheme is Princess related. The small books are surpassingly high quality for mini paperback books. We still have the collection from last year’s book advent calendar, despite my daughter insisting on going through them all the time.The stories have a good variety of the different Princesses. Some of the stories are Christmas themed, while some are more general stories. We got the previous year’s book last year, too, and about half of the books are duplicates. (She kept the stories from last year.) At first, my daughter was ok with a duplicate, but after about half were duplicates, her enthusiasm lessened. So if you’ve gotten this before, be aware you’ll see repeats!

Purchased for 3 yr old granddaughter and parents report that she LOVES it. Since I didn't open it, they said they were very impressed with it. All are enjoying their story time.

The media could not be loaded. Purchased as an advent calendar alternative for my 3 year old daughter. She loved getting to read a new princess book every day. Highly recommend if you're looking for an alternative to chocolate advent calendars.

We have purchased Disney advent calendars in the past. They were all Christmas stories. In this princess-themed one, though, only a few are. It also doesn't have the nice tie to keep it closed like the previous ones did.

I just looked through the books in preparation for advent tomorrow…..it’s all just previous years repeats. Missed the return window but I wish I could give it back. If you’ve never had one before maybe worth it but it’s just basically repeats
