Teacher Created Resources Solar System Chart, Multi Color (7633)

My daughter and I are educators and we wanted a poster for my 4-year-old grandson who discovered the solar system at family night at the scientific institute where his father works. My daughter says this first-grade-level poster is just right and that it contains all the newest information (including some corrections to things she just learned in the late-1990s). My grandson loves it. The colors are brilliant and the layout is uncluttered with a bunch of space junk, minor whatevers, that I find (on other posters I looked at on amazon) ruin the simplicity of first lessons in the solar system. I'm about on his same level when it comes to this information. One can always learn.

Wish it was bigger, but not bad for the price. The backside has all kinds of games and facts, they would be great if they were on a different paper. You need to find a creative way to be able to flip it over to play the activities. Quality paper, good images.

This chart has bright, clear colors. This chart is also on high-quality paper for strength & durability. The best features include it's ability to portray the relative sizing of the planets for a clearer concept of our role in the solar system

I was a bit dissapointed with this product. I thought it was a poster, even though the description states it's size, I didn't look closely enough. When browsing for solar system posters this item is grouped with them. But the biggest problem with this item is the quality of the cardboard it's printed on. I returned the first one that was sent because it had been poorly packed with other items and was damaged during shipping. The second time it was packed by itself and well but still with shipment a corner was banged and creases and minor dents through the picture. With that said, I love the picture itself. I puchased this for my 5 year old. She can read the names of the planets because it's simple without lots of things written under the planets. I think this is a good product for her age range, if it had been printed on poster paper I would have given it 5 stars.

I would not pay for shipping for this. it came folded, and you could always see the lines. I was looking for a solar system chart, and I had just had a baby so didn't want to go out much, so I found this. Not the best quality nor size. I would not get this again, my friend said she found one at a dollar store that was similar to this one.

Junk! Not shiny. Cardboard! Received in a box that that was too small . The poster was damaged and crinkled. Avoid!

Trying to keep youngsters interested in learning is always a challenge. Hanging posters like this in our little home school room makes it much easier. Not only is it interesting just to look at, but they learn at the same time...the relative sizes of the various planets, their relationship to the sun, etc.A great addition to our room!

This poster is great. It really sparked my daughter's interest in the planets and led to her doing more research with my help of course. She is five.
