Great quality. Bit too big
After researching a LOT, I can say this is high quality spirulina. I just wish it came in a smaller container for less money.

The grass is green, very green.
It has a gross taste and looks gross. It looks like regurgitated cow cud. I don't know if it helps. My grandmother said: The nastier it tastes, the better it works. :) Ta Da!

Super food!
It's pure Spiralina , in the form of a very fine dark green powder. Mixes easily into smoothies. I drink it w water first thing in the morning every day, and also sometimes later if I feel I havnt had enough greens.. It's an ideal plant based protein full of omega fatty acids..One thing I would change would be packing it in something biodegradable instead of those big plastic canisters.

Good price with 1kg quantity
It mixes in well with hot water. It must have great health benefits but I feel the same since I've starting to take it every day.

Made in USA? Safe? Here's what I know...
THIS IS COMPLICATED so I wasn't sure how many stars to put... but - I bought this product a few years ago and loved it. When I did research about it back then, I learned that it was made in Taiwan and uses photobioreactors (large glass cylinders) to produce it (their site had photos) and this is one of the safest and cleanest ways to produce this product. Now it says it's made in the USA but so many reviews say it IS made in China - which could be Taiwan still - and if this IS the same company that uses photobioreactors then I trust the product. I read many of the one star reviews and most complained about the taste, but that doesn't mean anything because taste is subjective so can't be "good" or "bad" (and I did love the taste) but one review did say that ConsumerLabs did a report with the lead level being higher than may be considered safe (comment said results were 0.59 and AI said the safest is under 0.30 but in Europe it's 3.0 which doesn't make sense). i just thought I'd share the info I have.
