Diptyque Eau de Parfum - Oud - 2.5 oz

Major disappointment. I originally received the candle in the same scent as a gift and loved it so much I wanted the perfume. Unfortunately, when it arrived it smelled absolutely nothing like the Oud candle scent and the policy clearly states that once opened, it cannot be returned. As I obviously had to open it to smell it, I'm out $150 for a big bottle of a scent that smells bad. I even wondered if what I received was something different and packaged in the Oud Diptyque brand.

This is the real deal. It's similar to church incense. Deep, dark, woodsy Oud. A good fragrance that lasts long -- just three spritzes in the morning will do, it'll last you until the night. Don't overdo it though, or you'll come off too strong. Oud Palao. Oh yes. Heaven on earth.

I walked into Diptyque while visiting Paris in autumn of 2015 and asked to smell a fragrance that was both feminine and masculine. Roses and tobacco leaves. After sampling several, I encountered Oud Palao and the mademoiselle said softly "Volià. You have a crush." It has become my signature sent, and I've been stopped on several occasions to inquire about Oud Palao. All yoi need is one spray, especially on your skin. I'm sure what the other customer is smelling, but it simply cant be this fragrance.
