I recently ordered my grandson 3 of these lanterns for night fishing . When they arrived, 1 didn’t work and the other 2 were badly scratched. The seller immediately sent 3 new lantern to me. This time all 3 worked great. The lanterns work very well . My grandson too happy he can see and go night fishing again.T ey are very bright and easy to use.

I love the simplicity of the light and the extremely bright illumination that it provides. Simply turn the knob to the stepless brightness that you want. There's a USB "C" port for charging the lantern and another standard USB port for charging your phone or other devices. That's it! It looks similar to my Coleman Propane lantern and has a handle on the top to hang it up or carry it. Light output is comparable to my Propane lantern. The Durapower Lantern is light-weight which prompted some people to assume that it was cheaply made...trust me it is not. I love this light so much I asked for another one for Christmas. Now these two Durapower's will light up my campsights and outdoor party area. I have not attempted to figure out how long it takes to fully charge because I plug it in after every use. I also can't say how long it lasts on a full charge but it is more than satisfactory. The only negative I have with it is that there is no gauge to show you how much battery use you have left. Five stars!

This lantern is great! It has 5 brightness settings and is super bright on the highest setting. The brightness is changed by pressing the button on the side of the base. It is rechargeable with the included USB charging cable. It has a plastic handle and can be hung with the hook that is in the handle. I would recommend this lantern.I don't know why a reviewer said the knives won't turn to adjust the brightness. You push the button in to adjust the brightness, youndon't turn it!

The media could not be loaded.  This lamp is pretty bright. I’m able to light up an entire room with great visibility in all corners. At full strength, the battery life leave much to be desired, as it’ll only last a couple of hours. 8/10 would buy again. Pretty good for the money.

I had it on for over 10hrs before finally turning it off determining it is going to last with a full charge!I like the adjustable light options. It is a little bulky to pack.

Wife needs light for putting on makeup during power outage

I ordered a Durapower lantern a month ago. I loved it - adjustable light from dim to extremely bright. So, I bought another for a Christmas present. It had a faulty switch and although fully charged, wouldn't stay on. So, I returned it and asked for a replcaement. Another arrived today prompty, BUT: It had a switch that wouldn't move, even with a pair of pliers gently trying to turn it. I'm returning that as well. But, I will not request a replacement - I will not risk ordering another! 2 out of 3 switches are shoddy, I now wonder about the longevity and durability of this lantern.I also wonder---judging from how it was packaged--if perhaps I wasn't sent a replacement lantern that had been previously returned. It's disappointing, because the first one seemed great.Jim Thomas / DeKalb IL
