These shorts are lightweight, comfortable, and fit true to size. The material dries quickly and feels breathable, making them great for outdoor activities or everyday wear. The pockets are well-placed and actually usable, which is a big plus. Overall, they’re well made and surprisingly good quality for the price. I’d definitely buy them again.

These shorts finally caused my first review, though I've been buying things on Amazon for ages. I feel almost fanboyish for the true genius that incorporated hook-n-loop under and around the snap with just enough flex and adjustment available in the waist for extreme comfort. I'm 6' at 170lbs with a 32" waist and 30" inseam; the medium are a perfect fit. I took these shorts camping in the White Mountains of Arizona followed by the high desert just below the Mogollon Rim. Both the fabric and stiching are exceptionally impervious to abrasion, as the rocks and ground I sat upon was some of the grittiest gravel and sand known to mankind. They took a beating though still look and feel new. I also got so much food stuffs and pine tar (pine tar!) on them, they should be standing on their own. A quick wipe with my hand and they look perfectly clean and new once more. The flaps over the high quality zippers are wonderfully engineered. But Alice, are they functional? These shorts move with me like no other pair of cargo shorts I've ever owned, and the pockets are perfectly placed for comfort and access while sitting or standing. I've ordered two more colors of the same and a pair of cargo pants from the same brand to see if this was a fluke. I may report back after putting these through the wash, but they truly seem like the perfect sport cargo shorts.

Really nice shorts; good fit and very comfortable. Only giving 4 stars because I haven't had a chance to wear them much since it's still winter here in NH. I'll be wearing these and the other pairs (same model) i bought for a few weeks in Sedona and Moab in April, so I can update afterward regarding durability.

Nice fit and comfortable!

For $27 on prime day these were a fairly solid deal. Not sure if I’d spend more than that on them, but they’re comfy, stretchy, full of pockets, and have little tabs to adjust the waist. I accidentally ordered the 2XL. I normally wear a Medium or Large athletic short from Walmart or Target, and at 2XL these are only slightly too big for me, so my guess is that a medium would have been way too small and a Large might have been a squeeze. For reference, I’m 5’7”, 235 pounds, so I’m not skinny by any means, but I’m also not enormously huge. The Velcro around the snap is an interesting touch that seems like it might help keep the snap from inadvertently coming undone. The zippers seem pretty decent, though not super heavy duty. The fabric is soft and I feel like these will stay comfortable throughout a long day outdoors. I bought them for kayaking, and haven’t had a chance to try them out yet, but I’m looking forward to seeing how they do!

These pants are awesome for hiking, working outdoors, or just not sweating to death. They’re super lightweight, quick-drying, and actually look decent enough to wear off-trail. I love 'em. But those zippers? They’ve got commitment issues. ✅ What I Like: Breathable and cool – Great for hot days or fast-paced hikes. You don’t feel like you’re wearing a tarp. Good fit – Athletic but not skinny-jean tight. Plenty of room to move. Dry fast – Get them wet and they’re good to go again in no time. Tons of pockets – If only the zippers behaved… ⚠️ What Could Be Better: Zippers love to wander – Unless zipped all the way up and checked regularly, expect a surprise pocket dump. Fabric is thin (by design) – Just don’t expect them to survive crawling through thorns or barbed wire. ⭐ Final Verdict: If you need lightweight, breathable pants for summer work, hiking, or travel, these are fantastic—just keep an eye on the zippers like a toddler near a cookie jar. I still wear them constantly, but I double-check my pockets religiously.

I love the material and the quality of the product. I love the style, but it just didn’t fit me right. If you’re the type of person that has difficulty getting a style to work with you I wouldn’t recommend it. You probably should go in and try it in at a store or something but if it works for you hey knock yourself out material is really nice and stretchy and had it fit me right I would’ve loved them. I thought the opening of the legs were too wide for shorts of that style

These shorts were comfortable and stylish. Contrary to another review, I found the length to be just right for me. The material is more technical/silky than I was expecting, but the color is true black and the two types of material blend well. I intend to use these shorts for kayaking on a lake and I think they're perfect for that purpose. The added pockets and secure pocket closure design will make them more comfortable and useful than my normal board shorts. They are very quick drying and move well with me. They are comfortable. I haven't had them out enough to assess durability, but they have inlaid vents that are thinner material than the main fabric. Based on their strategic location on the shorts, I think they'll hold up well, but a random accident could probably rip them. The zipper seems high quality and the adjustable waist was unexpected, works well, and is a nice touch.
