A perfect fit
As a cycling vlogger I use several different cameras and when one is not in use, the lens needs to be protected. This lens cap is the perfect addition to my vlogging equipment, it's rugged and fits great!

If it stayed on the camera it would probably work better
I bought these as insurance for a Hero 3+ Black and Hero 4 Black that I have but after using them maybe 4 or 5 times they have stretched out and tend to fall off. When they're stuck on the lens I'm sure they'd be just fine at taking a spill or a gentle strike from something, but if they can't stay on the damn camera then what's the point?Anyhow 1 of the 3 is beyond redemption now, but the other 2 are working for the time being. It's probably just a matter of time on the others though. If I could do it over again I would just buy a UV filter and leave it on most of the time since I don't use the waterproof cases (for audio).

Just okay.
They are okay... after a few uses they seem to slide off the lens. But if you get them to stay, they definitely protect them. They are a good thickness and overall... just okay.

Way better than the lens cap from GoPro - Fits your Hero3+
OK - they fit nice and snug, have a great little edge that you can grab and pull easily, and you can get 3 for cheap. Honestly they go on and off much easier and with less fuss than the original GoPro lens cap. Buy them - you'll like them!

Not deep enough for HERO3+
The caps are not deep enough for HERO3+ lens. The inner part of the cap will hit the lens if you push it all the way in.

I bought these lens caps to protect the lens and they fit great.
I use my GoPro Hero 3+ Black on my drone so it doesn't have the protective housing on it while flying or when stored. I bought these lens caps to protect the lens and they fit great.
